Objective: To become fully trained and able to meet all of AB Mauri requirements of working safely, efficiently and with an attention to detail. Obtain a thorough knowledge of the position and its requirements in the manufacturing, packaging, and storage of AB Mauri products. Production Following all food safety and operating procedures that are outlined by the company's standards including start-up, changeovers, shutdown, and safe operation of machinery. Ensure critical control points are checked on all required equipment and report findings. Accurately record required information on to production/ quality documentation. Report any mechanical malfunctions to management. Ensure that finished product is properly labeled and is marked with an accurate and legible lot code. Operate forklifts safely. Sanitation Ensure scheduled sanitation of production area is being conducted including daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. Maintain a clean work area within the department per sanitation standards. Accurately record required information on to appropriate documentation. Safety Safety is mandatory and priority for personal safety and the safety of others. Complete all forms, checklists and documentation required by company policies and procedures. Willingness to endorse and maintain a safe culture at all times. Wear appropriate PPE in designated work areas. Maintenance Keep equipment in a clean and neat condition. Perform autonomous maintenance on machinery as needed (based on AM status for site). Other Contribute to continuous improvement culture Qualifications A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED High School diploma or equivalent is required. Six months to a one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience. Basic Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages. Written and oral English Communication Knowledge and ability to be certified with on stand-up/sit-down forklift, and scissor lift. Previous knowledge of SQF, GMP's, HACCP, AIB/ASI standards. Biochemical process and/or Food manufacturing experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic PC skills in Word, Excel. Other Factors Ability to work 40 hours per week or scheduled hours, able to work overtime (Saturdays or Sundays) as needed. Other duties as assigned. The SMT Machine Technician serves as support for Engineers. This position focuses on creating and maintaining SMT process equipment programs, profiles, and completing proper maintenance that ensures equipment remains in good working order. Requirements What you'll do: Modifies programs and creates thermal profiles that support all equipment in the automated SMT production lines. Proactively repair equipment as needed and build tooling/fixtures for production when necessary. Train operators in basic equipment operation and preventive maintenance. Maintain preventive maintenance schedule. Assist in maintenance strategy planning for new equipment. Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues What you'll need: High level of proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office Suites. Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and/or AS9100. Working knowledge of IPC-610, J-STD, IPC 7711/7721, IPC-A-600, ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards. Electromechanical skills are a plus. Component ID training or IPC or equivalent training/certification highly encouraged. Strong affinity for mechanical technology and a proactive approach in preventive maintenance. Displays a high-level critical thinking and analysis Demonstrates highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Preferred Qualifications Technical Certification or Associates Degree in Electronic or Mechanical engineering One or more years' experience in the electronic manufacturing industry. One year' experience utilizing UniCAM or equivalent CIM software package Experience with program driven SMT/AOI equipment. Working knowledge of stencil printer, pick & place machines, wave solder machines, wash machines, reflow ovens, and automated optical inspection machines. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations Component ID training or IPC or equivalent training/certification highly encouraged.
