Maintain accuracy in all design documentation, sketches, and tech packs to ensure smooth transitions from concept to manufacturing. Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and best practices. Mentor and provide informal guidance to Designer I or Intern-level teammates as needed. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, Product Design, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Typically 4-6 years of relevant design experience in footwear or consumer products. Strong ability to express ideas through sketching, 2D renderings, and digital tools. Understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with 3D software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Desired Characteristics * Prior GE Aerospace Research intern experience preferred * Strong dedication to a career in technology and passion for computational solid mechanics * Excitement and enthusiasm for growing technical skills in advanced design. * Hands-on experience in leading FEA packages (ANSYS/ABAQUS, etc). * Experience with fracture mechanics and progressive damage modeling. * Experience with dynamic or vibration analysis. * Effective presentation and technical communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms. The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific weekly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
