Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Instrumentation Technician C to join our teams in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will work with blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and bulletins, National Bureau of Standards, manufacturers' specifications, oral and written instructions. You will be installing instrumentation, primarily strain gauges and thermocouples on all models of Boeing aircraft civilian, military and space.
Position Responsibilities:
Receive work assignment from team leader or supervisor and obtain necessary materials and equipment
Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents, as required, for assignment if drawings, sketches, and documents are not with work assignment
Fabricate wire or fiber optic bundles used to connect various types of test and computer equipment together or test sensing equipment used to monitor and measure, for the purpose of collecting and storing data during test
Set up and perform qualification test, bench test, or automatic test as required per work assignment, test document, test equipment manuals, and/or engineering instructions
Install fiber optic strain gages, thermocouples, accelerometers, and strain gages by soldering, bonding, spot welding, or using mechanical fastening devices
Use a scissor or boom lift to access areas for instrumentation installation this work is performed both inside hangars and outside on airfields
Perform modification of test equipment to meet engineering configuration, as required
Select proper hand, power, and/or bench tools needed to perform required operation, such as screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, crimpers, cable tools, band saw, drill press, and sander, as required
Use shop tools and any test equipment required to complete work assignment
Write tie-ins, and maintain records such as work log for areas/equipment as required
Devise and/or build shop aids and work around methods as necessary to test/troubleshoot systems
Handle and protect components and assemblies such as static sensitive equipment in accordance with shop procedures and drawing requirements
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (ketone, naphtha, alcohol, epoxy, acids) in approved manner (in accordance with Safety Data Sheets) using personal protective equipment as required
Pack electronic equipment for travel as required per drawing and Boeing applicable specifications
Check work after completion of each operation to be sure job is per drawing or other instructions
Put completed job or reworked job up for inspection as required
Contact team leader/supervisor/engineer/planner when assistance is needed (e.g. if there is questions about drawings or paperwork, if drawings and paperwork do not match, or when any other problem arises)
Maintain personal and tool certifications, as required
Comply with applicable tool control policies

Knowledge of routing, clamping, tying, connecting and terminating wires and/or wire bundles in electrical systems and assemblies, per the appropriate electrical codes

Conducts daily task activities to monitor, assess, and take appropriate actions needed to maintain aircraft equipment safely, reliably, and economically. Liaises directly with equipment manufacturers and service providers to develop and produce technical data and documents used in the maintenance and repair of company aircraft. Provides after-hours engineering support for Maintenance Control during AOG situations.
The minimum qualifications for this position require:
Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent level of experience in a mechanical or aeronautical discipline.
At least three (3) years' experience processing structures and interiors engineering work in a part 121 air carrier (regional or mainline).
Must have very competent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to read and write fluently in the English language.
Possess a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant license (preferred - required if not degreed).
Basic mathematical competencies
Knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and Basic Trigonometry to support engineering analysis
Must have a good working knowledge of CFRs with emphasis on parts 121, 91, 43, 25, 26, 21.

Position Overview
This position as part of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) organization will be responsible for supporting building battery prototypes within the Battery Engineering organization, the design and development of novel manufacturing equipment and processes to develop new battery pack designs. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for working with engineering teams to develop and tune processes. They will also build new equipment and fixtures to specification. About The Opportunity
This position works closely with Menasha's Engineering Department as we take a regional approach with exposure to all of our local facilities. This position will collaborate with operational functions and take a hands-on approach to problem solving and optimization. You'll work in CAD to improve site layouts, conduct time studies, and participate in continuous improvement projects. You will have guidance from a mentor on the Engineering team as well as be included in Menasha Corporation's Intern Program, which focuses on connection, experience building, and professional development.
Essential to this Position
The Engineering Intern will be responsible for assisting the Engineering Team with projects starting in summer of 2026.
Areas of Learning/Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects effectively while communicating regularly to stakeholders in meeting project timing commitment
Provide technical skill and knowledge to ensure projects meet facility and customer needs
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
Create and maintain CAD designs
Participate in continuous improvement projects, including line and machine optimization
Participate in site start up activities, including executing project management plans, working with vendors, and site and equipment establishment activities
Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
MUST BE actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in INDUSTRIAL OR SYSTEM Engineering
Experience with AutoCAD preferred
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel to local manufacturing plants
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and strong time management skills

Summary / Objective:
This team provides support in the areas of Administration, Program Management, Engineering, and Logistics Programs associated with life cycle maintenance, modernization, and modification of Naval ships, unique platforms, new construction units and support facilities for Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP), an independent field activity of the Naval Sea Systems (NAVSEA) Command that is aligned under Program Executive Office Attack Submarines (PEO SSN).
SUBMEPP's mission is to keep assigned Naval ships and submersibles safe, reliable, and affordable through use of its engineered life cycle maintenance and modernization products and services. SUBMEPP performs technical duties and responsibilities to provide and maintain engineered life cycle maintenance products in direct support of the Fleet, shipyards, industrial facilities, and NAVSEA.
General Duties or Experience:
Be able to provide semi-professional technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Required to have some practical knowledge of science or engineering. May require a practical knowledge of mathematics or computer science.
This position will assist with the review of Technical Work Documents (TWDs) from current CNO Availabilities to determine whether the maintenance accomplished satisfies the requirements of SUBMEPP Maintenance Standards/Requirements identified in each Availability Work Package (AWP).
Essential functions:
