Engine Test Enabling Hardware (ETEH) is a group of Mechanical/Aerospace Engineers/Specialists whose mission is to provide engineering services for design and build-up of mechanical test systems in support of the engineering initiatives. ETEH integrates the test article to the test cell while striving to exceed customer expectations. SummaryThe metallic materials application engineer (MAE) provides materials expertise and technical leadership for multiple material systems across a variety of components. In this role you will work with new products and legacy teams to solve complex technical problems. This role has a direct effect on short-term and some long-term business goals with a focus on metallic melting and conversion production support for premium quality, rotating part, material applications. The role requires horizontal partnership with design, sourcing, quality, and supply base to ensure robust technical solutions for the customer Job Description Role and Responsibilities Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define, and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements. Work scope will include material selection for new designs, troubleshooting of manufacturing issues at new-make and in repair, new material/process implementation, review of supplier processes, material test program planning, in addition to other technical tasks.
