Requests for Proposal (RFP) or revisions to contracts. Provide strategy, risk assessments, and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language; evaluates and coordinates proposals; investigates and reconciles significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. Contract negotiation, coordination, management, and closeout. Working in conjunction with associated functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations, to remain cognizant of problem areas, and to implement the required corrective actions. Developing and applying advanced concepts, techniques, and standards to assigned activities. Developing and applying solutions to complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Special projects as assigned. Job Responsibilities * Drafts, negotiates, and manages contracts for transmission service, transmission-to-transmission interconnection, generation interconnection, and other agreements as necessary under PSE's Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT). * Manages rights and obligations in existing network, point-to-point, legacy transmission, and generator interconnection agreement obligations with transmission customers, including but not limited to PSE merchant function, the Bonneville Power Administration, and generator developers. * Facilitates contract dispute resolutions. * Prepares reports and metrics for various internal and external stakeholders. Distributes reports to stakeholders as required. * Develops relationships and communicates requirements with transmission customers, traders, schedulers and other utilities in order to enhance PSE's ability to reliably and serve our customer base. * Partners with transmission customers on issues relating to business practices, transmission service obligations/provisions, transmission outages, Open Access Same-time Information System (OASIS), and technical systems implementations. * Works within company policies, systems, evaluation and approval practices, procedures, standard transmission tariff rules and applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. * Supports FERC formula rate filings, FERC audit, and WUTC General Rate Case filings fulfilling data request assignments responses via data collection, analysis, written responses and peer review. * Compiles, analyzes, and summarizes transmission contract data needed to inform PSE's planning studies and strategic recommendations. * Coaches and trains entry level transmission contract administration personnel. * Performs other duties as assigned. POSITION SUMMARY Flexjet is currently seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our growing team. Successful candidate will be exceptional at the sales contract process with keen attention to detail. The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for the complete contract cycle from the creation to distribution. This Contracts Specialist role reports directly to the VP of Administration & Contracts. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare, review and edit contract documents to fulfill terms of customer sales agreements * Responsible for administrative duties related to document management of new and existing contracts * Accurately update customer database * Provide general assistance to various departments with questions or needs on active accounts * Responsible for the quality control of the contract process * Professional interaction with colleagues, aviation consultants and influencers along with new and existing customers * Evaluation and assistance with customer retention * Provide other miscellaneous administrative and project support as directed by the VP of Administration & Contracts EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is preferred; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Aviation knowledge and experience are a plus * Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and detail oriented with the ability to self-motivate and handle multiple tasks to meet established targets * Must be results driven and able to comfortably obtain a high level of familiarity with Flexjet's unique customer base * Strong personal and work ethic along with a high level of integrity * Must have the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure while contributing to team efforts * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications * Salesforce experience is a plus Flexjet is an equal-opportunity employer.
