Select Comfort Systems is currently hiring for a full-time Boiler Service Technician / Boiler Technician to troubleshoot and repair our customers' residential and commercial HVAC units, boilers, and associated systems in the West Valley City, UT area. This HVAC position typically works a flexible schedule that includes 8-hour shifts with on-call duties . We pay our Boiler Service Technician / Boiler Technicians a competitive hourly pay of $28.00 - $35.00 per hour. Don't let us forget to mention we are providing a $3,000 signing bonus, paid after 90 days of employment .

REQUIREMENTS FOR A BOILER SERVICE TECHNICIAN / BOILER TECHNICIAN

• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and servicing both residential and commercial boilers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable record

Requirements:

• Highly organized and motivated

• EPA Universal
• Gas Mechanics 1
• O6A or above license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and Drug Screen
• 21 years or older

Principal Accountabilities

• Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:
• Using hand tools to perform maintenance on machinery
• Ensuring food safety and quality
• Cleanliness and housekeeping

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to work in a cold to warm environment
• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
• Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Cargill experience
• Work history in the past 12 months
