Essential Functions
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Floats to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios.
Able to manage ventilators, cpap/bipap, vapotherms.
Able to titrate and maintain critical drips on the ICU patient, including knowledge of indications, contraindications, and side effects.
Must pass a rhythm recognition test within 90 days of hire/transfer.

Responsible for team management duties including training, teaching and any other support activities that are necessary to meet the needs and improve the abilities of student athletes in wrestling.
Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions to promote individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Accompany and supervise student athletes during athletic competitions.
Schedules, in cooperation with athletic staff, game and officials. Develops and disseminates team schedules for the team's events;
Ensures all events held in conjunction with the Athletic Department are in compliance with current conference requirements; Works with support organizations on fundraising activities for the athletic programs;
Establish performance criteria for competition and evaluate students' athletic abilities initially and on a regular basis.
Maintain appropriate communication with athletes and parents through school approved means.
Supervises all activities within the team's athletic program to ensure compliance with conference and NCHSAA rules;
Maintains accurate and official team and individual records;
Supervises all assistant coaches and athletes, including volunteers, and reports issues to principal;
Coordinates team travel adhering to prudent budgetary practices;
Maintains confidentiality of information exposed to in the course of business regarding students, supervisors or other employees;
Maintain a current inventory of all equipment. Oversee process of cleaning, repairing, and storing campus athletic equipment.
Minimum Education, Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience in coaching and/or participation in wrestling.
Knowledge of rules and regulations of the NCHSAA and conference;
General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, parents
Demonstrated ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
Work Environment: Operates in a variety of conditions including office, gymnasium, training rooms and outdoors.

Appropriate driver's license for transportation of team by bus is preferred but not required.
