Responsibilities
* Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment and storage area.
* Load and unload inventory as needed.
* Responsible for receiving and put-away functions for inbound materials.
* Apply and understand mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
* Use of handheld RFN Navigator system to scan, move and pull materials.
* Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
* Follow safety programs and ensure compliance of OSHA regulation.
* May train others and ensure work is complete and built to order specifications.
* May be responsible for raw materials and finished goods inventory, and materials order replenishment.
* Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions. A Brief Summary of This Position
This is an Individual Contributor position with the Site Pro 1 in the Telecom division. Working under the direction of the Facility Manager, and within the guidelines of established procedures, the Picker/Packer is responsible to accurately pick all communication tower components per the packing slip. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for general house keeping of their area.
Essential Functions
• Operate the following pieces of production equipment: forklifts
• Accurately pick, and pack items based on customer orders
• Inventory control activities including cycle counts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, although most frequent lift is 20 pounds
• Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as well as work in non-temperature controlled environment
• Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of shift
• This position reports into the Facility Manager and has no direct reports
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
• High school diploma/GED and 6+ months of relevant education/work experience
• The ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Our customers rely on accurate and timely proposals comprised of the rebar estimate to win work therefore our ability to provide this service is of the utmost importance.

Build estimating skills and the ability to review plans to assist in the assessment of the project, project scope, and bidding strategy with trainer's and Estimating Lead guidance.
Prepare timely estimates of the quantities of fabricated reinforcing bars, mesh, accessories, and related products required for bidding projects.
Progress in knowledge to increasingly more complex and varied projects.
Complete more complex projects as determined by the Estimating Lead with little supervision by the end of the period.
Prioritize your workload and capacity and be able to effectively communicate that to the Estimating Lead.
Understand how to track plan revisions/bid updates against previous work.
Communicate effectively and professionally with sales teammates regarding all aspects of the estimating and bidding process.
Demonstrate the ability to self-review your work to verify scope, completeness, and accuracy.
Maintain a working knowledge of the CRSI Manual of Standard Practice, Reinforcing Anchorages and Splices, and the Placing Reinforcing Bars manuals.

Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
Wear proper PPE as required.
Perform daily inspections on equipment and report any defects or needed repairs to supervisor.
Removing metals and debris from conveyor belt.
Work in outdoor and indoor environments
General labor duties that may include but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and general cleanup of any area and/or equipment and physical handling of materials, supplies, etc.
Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed.
Preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment but not limited to shredder, eddy current, etc., as required.
Change liners, grates, hammer, etc. on the shredder.
Perform other job duties as assigned by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Company offers on the job training.
Ability to work 2nd shift. Hours 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM. (Shift schedule can vary/change depending on facility needs).
Experience using a front-end loader, excavator, forklift, skid steer or scrap handler in an Industrial/Outdoor Work Environment.
Ability to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to walk up several flights of stairs and work at heights above one-story.
Knowledge of heavy-equipment operating principles.
Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions.
Stable work history.
Flexible to work off hours, weekends, and holidays: including overtime and six days a week as required by production as well as in varying indoor/outdoor industrial working conditions.
Able to complete job tasks safely and effectively without constant supervision.
Ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
Ability to identify and differentiate metal materials, preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions and effectively communicate in English preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred - Spanish.
Strong mechanical abilities (welding, fabrication, knowledge of tools, etc.) a plus.
Previous maintenance background a plus.

Responsibilities
Truck drivers deliver and distribute building products to assigned customers. Ensure safe loading, handling, and transportation of materials and heavy cargo. Drive truck to destination applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations. Complete necessary paper work and relay any customer questions or complaints to supervisor. Inspect truck for any defects or problems that might arise before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition. Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition including service with fuel, oil, and water. Maintain logs and records according to D.O.T. regulations. Assist associates in loading and unloading trucks or building loads as needed. Secure cargo for transit. Maintain a clean truck. Maintain good housekeeping in work area. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must have a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and possess the ability to safely operate transportation equipment (i.e., tractor/trailer combinations). Two (2) years truck driving experience required. Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations and meet BC driver qualifications. Performs duties in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Flatbed experience preferred. Knowledge of building products and forklift experience a plus.
