This position is responsible for verifying, establishing, and maintaining accurate record title ownership of oil and gas properties by creating revenue and joint interest billing division of interests for company-operated and non-operated wells while working in compliance with corporate control functions, procedures and policies.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
With limited supervision, analyze and interpret provisions of deeds, leases, assignments, probate documents, contracts, legal decrees, division orders, joint operating agreements, contracts, and other similar and related legal documents conveying title to oil and gas properties.
Review title opinions, unitization orders and pooling declarations.
Decide title curative or waiver of requirements in title opinions, coordinate the curing of title requirements with in-house and field Landmen, and obtain curative documents.
With limited supervision, prepare Excel spreadsheets calculating divisions of interest and establish and maintain well title ownership decks in Bolo.
Process ownership changes upon receipt of deeds, leases, assignments, and other pertinent documentation.
Resolve interest owner inquiries.
Research and resolve title requirements for suspended interest owners.
Ensure that internal control procedures are maintained.
Complete work timely to comply with contractual and statutory requirements.
Communicate and interact effectively with internal counterparts in Land, Operations, Lease Records, Accounting, and Marketing.
Communicate professionally and effectively with external royalty/working interest owners and other business stakeholders as required.
Assist the department with gathering and analyzing data for acquisition or divestiture of company interests.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Strong research, math, and analytical skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong interpersonal and written communication, organization, consultative, analytical, problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in all phases of Division Orders with thorough knowledge of Leases, Division Orders, pooling, unitization, spacing, oil & gas commission rules, rights-of-way, joint operating agreements, and well trade agreements.
Minimum 4 years of experience utilizing oil & gas software in a land administration capacity; Bolo, Excalibur & Enertia experience strongly preferred.
Permian and/or Wattenberg/DJ Basin experience highly preferred.
Travel & Additional Requirements:
Location: Work is performed at a CIVI location Monday through Thursday with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and 4-hour workdays on Friday, as business needs allow and with manager approval.
Travel may be required to other Civitas offices and field locations.

Job Summary:
The ACE Regional Over-The-Road Driver delivers gas grill cylinders to AmeriGas locations by tractor-trailer truck. In this position, you would load and unload pallets of cylinders at the AmeriGas District locations and Production Facility. Lay overs are possible to comply with DOT regulation hours and the truck has a sleeper cab available. The position is responsible for achieving delivery and repair objectives. Drivers will communicate daily with the ACE Operations Manager regarding work activities and may need to participate in tank refurbishing to meet customer needs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Forklift Certified, CTEP certification desirable
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
