The Production Chief Engineer is responsible for all technical aspects of products and leads a team of engineers to develop and sustain products throughout the product lifecycle. The CE will lead the development of new features and improvements as well as lead failure investigations. The CE works with Product Line Managers to develop product roadmaps to meet customer requirements. Location: Hood River, OR Position Responsibilities Personifies the AV pillar of “Innovation”. Duties may include but not be limited to pipeline and compression system design, water source, treatment & disposal facility design, production facility design and project economic evaluation. Equipment and vendor selection will also be a requirement of this position as well as leadership responsibility for both contract and company personnel involved with construction and maintenance of facilities. This position is responsible for providing both general and specialized engineering services to support EnSiteUSA Project Management in the planning, analysis, estimating and design of primarily natural gas and liquids pipelines; compressor stations; measurement; regulation; and related facilities. This position will be located in Houston, Tx. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Planning of feasibility studies; FEED development; modeling; conceptual design; permitting; comprehensive understanding of process piping system design; project scope development; capital cost estimating and project scheduling. Design and installation of onshore natural gas or liquids pipeline systems including: measurement & regulation equipment, pigging facilities, mainline valves, and compressor stations Familiar with pipeline survey and pipeline construction techniques. Work with a drafting and mapping team to produce alignment drawings and provide coordination with ROW, environmental and archaeological personnel Design of gas transmission, gathering and distribution piping and facilities; gas storage; liquids pipelines; compressor stations; emergency shutdown; pipeline interconnects; block valve settings; pipeline pigging; odorization systems; dehydration; measurement and regulator stations; instrumentation and controls; interpretation and application of regulatory codes and standards; materials and equipment requisitioning; technical specifications and engineering standards. Work with multiple disciplines (civil, structural, I&E, etc..) and provide direction to drafting to develop PFD's, P&ID's, site plans, and piping drawings in order to create a construction set of drawings. Determine maximum field bending angles per client specifications and develop induction bend list for angles exceeding the maximum field bend angle. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB Application of fluid and dynamics, thermodynamics, compression cycle and hydraulic machine principles to design and selection of compressors, flow and pressure control equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, atmospheric tanks, coalescing filtration and adsorption equipment including integration of engineered packages into complete process plants. Job Summary This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, high-performing team managing complex offshore assets. You'll contribute directly to the safety, integrity, and performance of Murphy's deepwater operations while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. The Facility Engineer will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remotely. Job Responsibilities * Provide technical expertise to resolve and prevent equipment issues, leading or participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure timely and effective corrective actions. * Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems. * Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of instrument and control equipment, including DCS, MKVe, and programmable logic controllers. * Analyze and report on plant and system performance using operational and maintenance data. * Develop and review Planned Maintenance (PM) activities for all control systems. * Oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules. * Troubleshoot plant issues and recommend solutions using technical expertise. * Identify and solve complex technical problems promptly. * Complete additional duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager. * Write project scopes and material specifications. * Provide budgetary support for assigned projects.
