The great residents
Management changes ALL the time! Don't know what they are doing.
Resident appreciative of staff
Nothing
More stable leadership
Show up on time. Easy to get job, if qualified.
Poor
Very good
The feedback from the residents is usually good, except all hate the quality of food.
The residents are honestly the only pro of working at Bonaventure.
The soda fountain is my only favorite perk. Bonaventure has nothing good to offer.
The cons of working at Bonaventure seem unending. They underpay, understaff and disrespect their employees. They don’t care about the well being of the residents. The only thing Bonaventure cares about is making money.
The ceo is a money hungry narcissist.
I would improve the company culture by standing up for employees instead of throwing them under the bus. When Bonaventure messes up, they always need someone to blame other than themselves. They throw employees under the bus to save themselves and that’s not fair.
I literally just walked into Bonaventure for my interview and they hired me on the spot
I feel as though Bonaventure does not pay their employees fairly at all.
Personally the most fulfilling aspect of working at Bonaventure is the residents. You come to build a relationship with them and it’s comforting to know you can help someone through the final years of their life.
I feel as though Bonaventure has a good variety of different demographics.
The only good thing about working at Bonaventure is the residents/coworkers.
This is a money hungry company who actually doesn’t care about their residents. Management only cares about making their wallets bigger not the overall health and wellness of their people.
The soda fountain is open to us
The leadership is awful and the CEO only cares about money.
Have management actually care about their residents. It’s better to be over staffed and everyone safe rather than understaffed(To “save money”) and the residents not safe. The staff to resident ratio isn’t safe at all. The turnover rate is so high because they don’t train properly at all and blame the new hires for not knowing everything exactly to a t right away.
All I did was show up, be myself, and say I was willing to do noc, and they hired me on the spot.
The pay is actually ridiculously sad. For the amount of work the caregivers/med techs do they should be getting paid more than 1$ above minimum wage.
That’s one thing that Bonaventure is good at is hiring all types of people.
What brings me the most joy at work is definitely the residents. They’re the only reason I stay with Bonaventure. I wish management cared about their residents well being as much as the very underpaid staff.
