This is an onsite role based in our Sacramento studios, with occasional live events and remote broadcasts. What You'll Do (Primary Job Duties) Host dynamic, informative, and entertaining segments that resonate with our target audience. Stay sharp on local and national sports stories, trends, and culture. Represent the station at live events and promotional appearances. Create exclusive digital content-blogs, podcasts, videos, listener chats, and more. Operate studio equipment and manage show elements like call-ins, recorded bits, and live interviews. Collaborate with producers and team members to develop fresh show ideas. Build strong relationships with listeners, clients, and colleagues. Uphold FCC regulations and company policies with professionalism and integrity. Other duties as assigned. What You Bring (Skills and Experience) 3+ years of on-air radio / podcasting experience (sports format preferred). A standout personality that aligns with our mission to build up, connect, celebrate, and inform. Deep understanding of audience engagement in a PPM-rated market. Technical know-how with studio equipment and audio production tools. Strong sports knowledge and the ability to deliver content that's both informative and entertaining. Confidence in live settings-interviews, call-ins, and public events. Comfort with digital platforms and emerging media technologies. A collaborative spirit and openness to coaching and feedback. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed. Physical & Tech Requirements Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and operate studio equipment.
