In 1936, the first of many Bonnie greenhouses was erected, and the business continued to grow and expand.
Bonnie Paulk in 1940 and tells the story of the founding and growth of Bonnie Plant Farm in the early part of the last century.
In the early 1970’s, customer demand for greenhouse-grown potted plants led us to a different product line, individual plants in pots.
In the early 1990’s, mass-market retailers began to expand into the home garden trade by opening garden centers.
Herb plants became a popular selling category in the late 1990’s and today makes up 30% of our sales.
In 2018 Bonnie Plants celebrated 100 years in business.
