1975

Founded in 1975, Yoknapatawpha Press is a southern regional small press which publishes works by southern writers.

1976

Acair Ltd was established in 1976 to provide Gaelic language materials for the ground breaking bi-lingual education project in the Western Isles.

Jonathan Ball Publishers was started in 1976 and is the leading publisher and distributor of English general books in South Africa.

Richard Morriss of Morriss Printing bought Sono Nis in 1976 and moved it to Victoria, B.C. He continued to publish poetry and added high-quality regional non-fiction to the list.

Since its founding in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1988, Epicenter has become the largest trade publisher of nonfiction books about Alaska.
