I am an experienced executive, entrepreneur, and engineer. I started out at the University of Texas at Austin, where I realized a passion for game and simulation programming. Since then, I have worked extensively in the game industry on AAA titles such as the Ratchet and Clank series, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Diablo 3. I was co-founder and CTO at Booyah, Inc, one of the early iFund companies. I built and lead an amazing engineering team that created multiple award winning iOS products including Early Bird (#1 iPhone game, featured multiple times by Apple, over 12 million players) and the MyTown franchise (a top grossing iOS game, featured multiple times by Apple, over 15 million players). I also lead the development of the top 25 Facebook game Nightclub City, enjoyed by over 16 million people. Since leaving Booyah I spent two years driving the pan-american highway from Alaska all the way to Patagonia. While on the road, I created a new website and mobile application, iOverlander, which allows overland travelers to share camping sites and places they visit. Since launch, the users of iOverlander have organically grown the database of places by 250% and it now includes more than 5,000 places to camp in Central America, South America, and Africa.
