REQUIRED TRAINING/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Purpose of Position: Under the direction of the F&B Manager, the Food Runner/Busser is a non-exempt seasonal positions responsible for providing members and their guests with the highest quality dining experience. Performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below and in the spirit of the Club's mission and vision.
Responsibilities:
Duties shall include but not be limited to:
Sets, serves, clears, and cleans tables in a friendly and professional manner.
Replenishes food, beverages, and tableware timely and accurately, maintaining tables and buffets.
Stays familiar with, and accurately describes menu items and their preparation. Ensures all items served are correct and meet NGC quality standards.
Learns and remembers members' names and preferences.
In coordination with the Server, may take orders and communicates them effectively to the kitchen and bar.
May assist kitchen with simple food preparation and dish cleaning.
Attends pre-service meetings and communicates questions, comments and concerns to other staff members to improve the service and experience of the membership.
Works cooperatively with all other food and beverage staff. Assists other wait-staff and management as needed.
Performs opening and closing shift side work and weekly cleaning. Ensures table setting and presentation is to NGC standards. Helps maintain and organize dining and storage areas.
Addresses members' concerns immediately and to their satisfaction. Communicates any problems and potential issues to management. Assists with tournament F&B service.
Observes food serve safe practices and all general Club safety protocols.
Participates in required trainings and meetings.
Performs other tasks and duties as required.

Must have 1+year high-volume restaurant experience
