2009

In 2009, Grupo Lala purchased the dairy business, National Dairy LLC, and later established its United States operations under the name Borden Dairy, to once again acknowledge the lasting legacy that Mr.

In 2009, Grupo Lala of Mexico acquired National Dairy from DFA and began conducting US operations as Borden Dairy Company.

2012

The winning example is high-protein milk brand Fairlife, which was founded in 2012 and exceeded $500 million in sales last year.

On January 5, 2020, Borden Dairy Company and sixteen affiliated companies filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware citing declining sales.
