Job purpose
BorgWarner is currently looking for a creative, nimble problem solver with a holistic view that has excellent people skills to join a highly collaborative team and build the Operations Team for a new industrial product greenfield facility. The Operations Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining an industrial systems operations manufacturing plan as it relates to the industrial product market and implementing processes and procedures to achieve an efficient manufacturing site that consistently produces a cutting-edge product on an accelerated timeline to be the first to market as well as obtain product leadership.
This position will be based at the BorgWarner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility with a specific location to be finalized.
Key responsibilities
* Accountable for safety, talent, delivery, cost, and quality production for assembly, balancing, brazing, roll forming, machine and facility maintenance.
* Ensure a safe work environment with root cause analysis for all safety related incidents within manufacturing area.
* Planning, design, optimization, and evaluation of existing and future processes as well as their operational implementation in the production areas according to the guidelines of lean management.
* Develops a monthly forecast and annual budget for review with leadership team Responsible for ensuring positive employee relations and building employee engagement.
* Talent development within production by providing coaching, direction, and feedback to production team.
* Ensure adequate training, and documentation of such, to ensure successful performance of operator's job duties to meet safety and quality expectations.
* Oversee all departmental activities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.
* Ensure consistent execution of departmental disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and terminations.
* Participates in the review of business proposals, cost estimates, and new product design to maximize the profitability of new products and minimize time required to design and start production.
* Supports broader business needs such as operation reviews, customer visits, presentations, etc.
* Perform other duties as needed

* Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing or engineering related field; MBA preferred.
* Minimum 10-15 years of industrial product manufacturing experience specifically in operations.
* Recognized expert with ability to convey/train knowledge to others and provide mentoring.
* Business acumen, excellent problem solving and project management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft office software -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing processes/procedures

POSITION SUMMARY: The Account Manager assumes overall commercial responsibility for one or more Aftermarket customers with total annual sales revenue more than $20-25 million. This position will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies for maximizing current business and obtaining new business at the assigned OEM or Aftermarket customers. The Account Manager is responsible for directing the sales activities in an assigned region, market segment, Buying Groups, key National Accounts, or assigned customers. This includes maintaining key client relationships and managing and training a team of customer sales staff. * Assures account team's compliance with contract review procedures and the business unit's commercial policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree and experience in automotive aftermarket highly preferred
* A minimum of 5+ years sales and marketing experience in automotive industry.
* Excellent understanding of all automotive business processes
* Skilled in commercial negotiations and business management
* Extensive travel (75%) will be required to accommodate trade shows, on site customer and end user requirements
* Solid understanding of managerial finance as it relates to program and business metrics

Job Purpose
The Manufacturing, Automation, and Controls Technician supports thermal assembly lines and other production areas, focusing on improving quality, process flow, and automation. This role bridges engineering resources and the production floor, implementing safety, quality, and process improvements.

Position Summary:
To strengthen our Software and Controls Development Team, we are looking for a Systems Development Engineer in the development of engine software including power electronics, motors, valves, sensors, actuators, and electronic control units. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring system requirements are defined to enable engineered software solutions are developed and validated to meet customer needs.
The Systems Development Engineer (SYDE) position within this group is primarily responsible for system level software development including guiding and specifying the Software requirements for system operation and functional safety. This role operates at the intersection of software development and systems engineering and is critical in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems. Close communication, coordination, and collaboration with a global team will be necessary so that the Software evolves into system-level controls and hardware. What we're looking for
Required:

This position will machine components by operating various machines and equipment.
* Set up and operate various CNC machines.
* Set up and adjust fixtures, cutting tools, and make tooling offsets on machines.
* Utilize blueprint specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece and setup requirements.

Key Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate shipments, track inventory, communicating with vendors and carriers, and resolving logistical issues to support business operations for the Industrial Solutions organization. Arrange transportation with supplier for incoming goods. Monitor delivery status of prototype, sample, PPAP, and intercompany components to support on time delivery. Communicate status to Purchasing, Program Management, and Tech Center Logistics. Coordinate part flow after receipt through organization, streamlining and ensuring efficient and timely movement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Organize and lead procurement meetings to monitor delivery status
* Work with suppliers to expedite deliveries if program deadlines change and coordinate and monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
* Request recovery plans if suppliers fall behind and meet with suppliers to ensure plan is successfully implemented
* Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork as needed
* Advise suppliers of proper shipping methods to meet delivery deadlines
* Collaborate with Program Management or Engineering, and Suppliers to resolve conflicting priorities among BW parts at the same vendor
* Coordinate with production scheduling when support is needed for new program launches and samples
* Analyze workload at prototype suppliers and advise Purchasing and Program Management of constraints
* Communicate with Purchasing and cross functional team, daily, regarding identified concerns with material/component availability
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities
* Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
* Regularly report and track progress of prototype, sample, and intercompany deliveries. Communicate delivery date changes to program Management and Launch Purchasing
* Support warehouse operations and assist with inventory management
* Provide Inventory Control with proper information to disposition material used in samples or supplied to prototype vendors
* Utilize SAP to run queries and reports to track status of prototype and PPAP PO's
* Regularly report and track progress of prototype, sample, and intercompany deliveries. Communicate delivery date changes to program Management and Launch Purchasing
* Support Supply Chain, Logistics Supervisor/Manager and Buyers on special projects, issues and other assignments as required in support of successful, on time new program launch
* Understand and adhere to current health, safety, and environmental policies
* Understand and adhere to current quality and control policies
* Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
* Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation
* Experience with freight negotiation and carrier management
* Familiarity with lean logistics and continuous improvement practices
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
