Summary:
Accompany patient to exam/procedure room
Prepare patients for examination and treatment
Check the schedule and organize patient flow
Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies

Assist providers in preparing the patient and the facilities for procedures

Candidates must have:

Position Summary:
The End User Services Analyst plays a critical role in providing comprehensive technical support to New York Proton Center employees and external users/partner physicians. This role encompasses the support of various productivity applications, including the Microsoft Office 365 suite, and all user-assigned equipment such as desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and phones. The Analyst is also responsible for analyzing and addressing alerts from Endpoint Protection systems and ensuring efficient resolution or escalation as needed.
Candidates should be familiar with ITIL foundational practices (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Track and resolve all incoming Incident and Service Request tickets in the Service Now application.
Respond promptly to on-site and off-site users requiring assistance with NYPC-provided technology.
Manage account administration tasks, including onboarding and offboarding employees, temporary staff and external employees.
Handle common support issues such as password resets, printer setups, phone/passcode resets, and wireless connectivity.

Position Summary:
The Medical Physicist is responsible for all technical aspects of medical physics duties pertaining to operating a proton therapy (PT) clinic. This position ensures a safe environment for staff and accurate delivery of radiation to patients as directed by Physician Written Directives. This includes complex treatment planning, patient positioning, radiation protection, machine, and patient-specific quality assurance in close collaboration with Physicians, Therapists, and Dosimetrists. The candidate also has opportunities to participate in research projects related to proton FLASH therapy with pre-clinical experiments, radiobiology-guided PT, and adaptive PT.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure patient safety and staff safety for all radiation services and adhere to safety protocols as appropriate and required federal/state regulations and accrediting agencies and maintain records appropriately
Provide calibration, QA, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment and maintain records appropriately
Performs and documents initial and weekly patient chart checks, as assigned, to verify accuracy
Perform special physics consults and dosimetry as requested by the radiation oncologist.
Participate in chart rounds and continue quality improvement
Performs patient-specific radiation measurements and calculations
Participates in research, development projects, and medical physics education program

The Radiation Therapist Lead will function in a supervisory and direct patient care role. Position Summary:

Position Summary:
The Medical Dosimetrist, under limited supervision, provides comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing proton radiation therapy. The Dosimetrist also designs and implements quality assurance procedures and clinical protocols in accordance with departmental and clinical needs.
