Job Summary: As a Vacuum Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks to assist with excavation projects, including the removal of liquids, slurries, and debris. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring sites are clean and safe for further excavation and construction work Must have a valid CDL driver's license, with a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screening. Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to): Ability to operate vac equipment: vac, track hoe, backhoe, trucks, and excavating equipment. Files complete and accurate paperwork daily, (credit card receipts, timecards, daily completion sheets, job reports, billing, maintenance schedule, safety meeting information). Communicates daily with the foreman regarding safety, work needs. Reports progress of jobs to the foreman and discuss any problems for resolutions. Actively participate in safety meetings. Follows established safety rules on job site, to and from job site, and uses common sense in maintaining a safe environment for self, team members, customer and the public. Assist in any other assigned tasks as required. Monitor and verifies quality control and uniformity of work. Minor mechanical skills are required (repair machine, trailer, etc). Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals etc. Ability to operate construction equipment and tools.
