About the role: Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations in the IC MODS Manufacturing line, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The Director of Reagent Manufacturing Operations for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the manufacture and delivery of Immunoassays, including Ranch Operations, the Reagent Operations budget, and associated SQDC metrics. This position reports to the Senior Director of Reagent Operations and is part of the Reagents and Consumables Operations Team located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: * Provide strategic and tactical leadership to the Reagent value stream to deliver products on time while meeting Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectives. * Achieve KPIs for safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and operational P&L. * Generate budgets and control expenses related to labor, controllable expenses, and manufacturing variances. * Hire, develop, and retain talent supporting site goals and customers' expectations. * Lead and collaborate worldwide, cross-functionally, to accomplish business objectives, ensuring material, quality systems, and technical support are available when needed. * Lead the adoption of the Danaher Business Systems (DBS) throughout Reagent Manufacturing to improve quality, delivery, cost, and innovation by applying tools and a continuous improvement mindset. * Ensure strategies are communicated and well understood by the team. The essential requirements of the job include: * Bachelor's degree with 14+ years' experience or Master's/Doctoral degree with 10+ years' experience. * 5+ years' experience managing complex manufacturing teams within an FDA/ISO-regulated industry. * Demonstrated proficiency in a DBS, Lean, or Six Sigma Culture and understanding of Lean manufacturing tools and concepts, * Proven track record of working cross-functionally within matrixed organizations to achieve business outcomes * Experience managing budgets * Experience working with Oracle and electronic batch records Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: * Ability to travel 10% of time, internationally It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: * Engaging and developing teams; driving succession and development of talent. * Leading in a culture biased to action and accountability.
