How you'll contribute
The Physical Therapist (PT) assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.
Assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Observes and evaluates treatment affect, accomplishment of short and long term goals. Recommends change to physician, if needed.
Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient and performs reassessments, as per policy. Performs accurate and timely QI scoring. The population is adult and geriatric patients requiring an adult medical rehabilitation program and services.
Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
Formulates and updates patient specific plan of care for physical therapy
Reports patient progress and barriers to discharge in each patient team conference
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
Formulates a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching, as appropriate. Performs appropriate documentation.
Demonstrates knowledge, competency and proficiency of physical therapy modalities.

We are seeking interested and qualified individuals to proctor the upcoming Washington State Bar Exam.
The Bar Exam takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 24-25, 2026.
The Bar Exam will be in person and at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, in Tacoma, WA.
There is also a brief mandatory orientation / training in person on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
The Bar Exam is two full days. Proctors are expected to arrive at 6:30 a.m., February 24 and at 7:00 a.m. on February 25, 2026, and remain until approximately 4:15 p.m.
Interested candidates must:
Be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate
Communicate effectively and courteously
Be proficient in the English language
Follow directions accurately
Work with people under stressful conditions in a calm, courteous, and professional manner

In this role, you will coordinate ITA (Involuntary Treatment Act) and FIT (Family Initiated Treatment) patients with SPBH providers, program therapists, nurses, and Snohomish County prosecuting and defense attorneys. You will be responsible for tracking and managing all necessary documentation and must know ITA and FIT patient rights and laws. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team and conducts clinical evaluations of patients detained under the Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) by Designated Crisis Responders (DCRs) on an initial 120-hour hold. Assesses whether a patient meets both legal and mental health criteria for additional involuntary inpatient hospitalization or if a less restrictive option is appropriate.
Co-authors 14/90/180-day petitions for continued involuntary inpatient treatment with attending providers.
Provides expert witness testimony in court proceedings through direct patient evaluation, medical chart review, obtaining collateral information from outpatient providers and witnesses, and undergoing direct/cross-examination from Snohomish County prosecuting and defense attorneys.
Adheres to all relevant RCWs and meets legal deadlines for ITA e-filing.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintains a tracking system for pertinent ITA patient information, such as court dates and current orders.
Reports all new admissions to the ITA Unit of the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and Snohomish County Public Defender Association.
Maintains a tracking and reporting process for discharge notifications.
Distributes 24-hour right to continue or decline medication notices to patient units.
Maintains a tracking system for Family Initiated Treatment (FIT) adolescent patients; reports FIT admissions and discharges and sends out documentation for review.
Performs case management services and coordination as needed.
Keeps current knowledge of all ITA laws and patient rights.
Provides education and training during New Employee Orientation (NEO) about ITA law and procedures at SPBH.
