* Interviews clients and develops appropriate treatment plans; initiates and/or participates in home studies, and provides intensive casework services to families and children; investigates allegations of child abuse and assesses imminent danger for children; makes referrals to community resources and collateral contacts.
* Monitors and reports clients' progress and provides service recommendations/referrals. Ensures that needed services are being provided, that treatment plans are being followed through in a timely manner and determines the appropriateness of the placement and services provided.
* Addresses child safety issues in the home to mitigate safety concerns; ensures that children in the department's custody or supervision receive necessary interventions.
* Provides crisis management and coordinates support services for clients to resolve problems and conflicts.

Underage Operatives are individuals who are between the ages of 16 years old & 20 years old and are hired through the State to attempt to purchase tobacco and alcohol beverage products from licensed establishments.
These underage compliance checks aim to prevent sales of tobacco and alcohol beverages to those under 21 years of age.
If you are interested, you will work directly with two Liquor/Tobacco Investigators. The investigators will equip you with a body mic that records and transmits to the Investigators, allowing them to listen live as your attempt to purchase occurs.
You will work in an undercover capacity and be required to be available to testify in criminal court and administrative hearings when necessary.
The work is anything but consistent; we are looking for candidates that can be flexible with their work schedule. The investigator will schedule checks, on average, a couple of times a month throughout the state of Colorado. An example would be that you might only work 5 or 6 times a year, but it could be more depending on your level of engagement and availability!

The pay range for this position is $22.01 to $33.02/hour. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $22.01 and $27.51/hour based on experience and education. The City and County of Denver's Community Planning and Development Department (CPD) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a part-time on call Administrative Support Assistant position in our Policy and Planning Division.
As an Administrative Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and expertise by providing administrative support to meetings of appointed boards and commissions and by conducting required public notification for a variety of processes, including rezonings and various historic preservation applications. About the Position
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is looking to fill a Professional Land Surveyor position located in Durango. The purpose of this position is to be in "responsible charge" of the establishment of highway horizontal and vertical project control, the collection of topographic data (TMOSS), gathering of field boundary evidence relating to existing right-of-way (ROW) and private property lines, evaluation of deeds and survey documents, creation of plans (drawings) showing State Highway ROW, boundaries and dimensions of property parcels and easements. This position also creates property descriptions of parcels and easements.
Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Represent the Region 5 ROW/Survey Unit in scoping meetings with specialty units, consultants, local agencies, and other stakeholders;
* Establishes horizontal and vertical control systems for highway projects using global positioning system (GPS) equipment and Trimble Business Center software;
* Collects topography data for roadway design using CDOT's Terrain Modeling Survey System (TMOSS);
* Prepares project control diagrams for horizontal and vertical control monuments;
* Gather information about location and ownership of existing State Highway ROW and adjoining property by researching survey plats, ROW plans, county records, title commitments and field notes of governmental agencies.

The Work Unit:
The Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division (HFEMSD) is responsible for the oversight and enforcement of a broad range of federal and state statutes and regulations applicable to a wide variety of healthcare facilities and services in Colorado, including hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgical facilities, renal dialysis centers, emergency medical services providers, designated and non-designated trauma centers, long term care facilities and many other specific types of healthcare services. Summary Position:
This position is staffed by professionals who work independently or as a member of an interdisciplinary team to assess the care, treatment and quality of life provided by various health facilities through observations, interviews, and record reviews. Uses experience, training and judgment in evaluating and applying statutes, regulations,

The Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Academy Faculty member will perform instructional duties and related activities in accordance with the philosophies and procedures of Arapahoe Community College and the policies of the Colorado Community College System.

Courses may be taught using both traditional and non-traditional delivery (e.g. hybrid, online, or accelerated); some weekend/evening teaching may be required. Objectives:
* Report to the Legislative Liaison and Director of Legislative Affairs
* The intern will spend time at the State Capitol observing the department's Legislative Policy Advisor in order to understand the functions of that individual's role.
* Upon completion of the internship, the intern will understand how to track voluminous amounts of introduced state legislation within a short period of time.
* The intern will understand each step required to submit a request to the Governor's Office in order to receive approval for the Department to engage on pending legislation.
* The intern will understand how to communicate the history of pending legislation to Department staff, including changes to legislation through amendments and committee votes.
* The intern will understand protocols for scheduling meetings with legislators and policy advocates.
* The intern will understand how to coordinate and manage calendar appointments to prevent scheduling conflicts and ensure optimal time management.
* The intern will understand the steps required to provide complete and accurate responses to requests for information from members and staff of the General Assembly.
* The intern will understand the Department's procedures for tracking and routing statutory reports.
* The internship will be completed by May 15, 2026.
Activities Include:
* Bill Tracking. Track bill status from concept through implementation during the legislative session for legislation impacting the Energy Office and Energy Office-led efforts. Ensure Executive Leadership Team and Legislative Team have the most recent, updated version. Assist with Position Requests on various draft bills.
* Legislative Calendar Management. Manage executive engagement, including maintaining legislative calendars, tracking hearings and sending invitations, scheduling subject matter experts and executive leadership for testimony.
* Scheduling and Meeting Planning. Work closely with the Legislative Team to schedule internal and external meetings to review bill language, plan strategy, discuss new bills and provide feedback. Work closely with Legislative Liaison and Director of Legislative Affairs to assist with logistics related to hearings including scheduling hearings with legislative staff, drafting testimony or talking points, creating handouts and binders, editing and providing copies of fact sheets and other key information to legislators and legislative staff as needed.
* Other Duties as Assigned. Provide assistance as needed in the office, at the capitol or remotely to ensure success of legislative, budget and affordability agendas.

About the Position
As a Welder, classified as Machining Trades II, you will work with supervisors, mechanics, and transportation maintenance workers to keep CDOT's equipment operational. This position's responsibilities mainly involve the repair and fabrication of structural components for CDOT's equipment and structures. This involves determining the most appropriate and cost-effective manner to make the equipment operational and coming up with appropriate designs. Both repair and fabrication involve welding various metal materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and/or overhead positions, typically via mig or stick welding, and operating various machinery/tools to bend, straighten, cut, bore, grind, mill, plane, or abrade materials.
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following
* Evaluate damage to equipment and determine whether repair or replacement is the best, most cost effective way to address; determine what type of repair or fabrication will be most effective;
* Effect repair on a variety of equipment, including plows, wings, sanders, truck frames, mowers, loader buckets, pipes, fuel tanks, hydraulic tanks, etc.;
* Effect repair on structures such as bridge expansion joints, bridge railing, cattle guards, drainage grates, etc. Travel to effect repair, especially in emergency situations;
* Fabricate parts that are outdated and can no longer be purchased; figure out specifications to ensure fabricated part is within tolerances, effective, and safe;
* Fabricate structural components to facilitate repairs; for example, fabricate piece of truck frame or fabricate piece of tower arm to reattach plow to truck;
* Use a variety of tools/machinery to complete repair/fabrication including: mig welder, stick welder, Tig welder, press, iron worker, saw, plasma cutter, compressed oxygen-acetylene cutter, lathe, milling machine, grinders, mag drill, scraper, etc.;
* Ensure that work is completed to be effective, safe, and to approved tolerances;
* Ensure proper storage of materials and supplies; ensure appropriate shut-down, such as shutting off oxygen before storing; store all flammables in fire box; have safe and secure racks for storing tanks and materials; ensure materials are properly labeled;
* Identify safety concerns and actively work toward creating a safer workplace; report concerns to supervisor;
* Maintain situational awareness, especially when traveling to complete on-site repairs to highway structures;
* Provide information, education, and guidance to equipment operators as needed; educate equipment operators on ways to maintain and operate equipment to reduce the need for repair;
* Contribute to an effective team working environment in the shop and with maintenance patrols;

* Use computer software and CDOT programs to enter data and information in order to complete email, paperwork, reports, work orders, time sheets, fuel logs, supply orders, weekly updates, and accident reports;

Work Unit:
The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) exists to ensure that all children receive financial and medical support from each parent through the location of each parent, the establishment of paternity and support obligations, the enforcement of those obligations, and connection to resources to assist parents in overcoming any barriers that are impeding their ability to pay child support.
The Systems and Operations Section encompasses two major areas: the Automated Child Support Enforcement System (ACSES) development and support and the Family Support Registry (FSR), Colorado's mandated State Disbursement Unit (SDU). The FSR was created and provides services per Colorado Revised Statute 26-13-114. FSR services are for all families with a support order.
The FSR is split into two sections. FSR Financial Services (FFS) is responsible for the operation of the State Disbursement Unit (SDU). FSR Support Services (FSS) provides services to employers, families, county CSS offices, and the court.
The State Disbursement Unit, which executes the Division's annual responsibilities to receive and deliver payments totaling over $520 million annually to families. In addition, FFS staff provide financial services to families and county CSS offices. The FSR Financial Services Unit includes six State FTE and vendor services, and the Unit is responsible for the procurement and ongoing administration of associated contractual services that total over $2 million annually. This position will be working in the FSR Financial Services Unit.
The FSR's Financial Services Unit is responsible for using established guidelines and procedures to perform State financial reconciliations between the contract vendor, the FSR Bank, the ACSES, CDHS, and the 64 county CSS programs
This position is currently hybrid - 2 days in office
Office Hours 8 am - 5 pm negotiate specific hours when hired, core hours 9 am - 3 pm and must work eight hours a day.

This position will perform the following duties using judgment on an ongoing basis in selecting the established guidelines and procedures to:
* Identify payments received by the FSR without identification
* Process payments received at the state office
* Process payments returned by the bank as unpaid

* Process disbursements checks returned to the FSR

Work Unit:
The Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division (HFEMSD) is responsible for the oversight and enforcement of a broad range of federal and state statutes and regulations applicable to a wide variety of healthcare facilities and services in Colorado, including hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgical facilities, renal dialysis centers, emergency medical services providers, designated and non-designated trauma centers, long term care facilities and many other specific types of healthcare services. The division licenses, certifies and surveys healthcare facilities and services; provides patient safety and healthcare quality programs; recognizes emergency medical service (EMS) education programs; certifies EMS providers and licenses air and ground ambulance services operating within the state.
This work unit exists to: (1) protect the health, safety, and welfare of patients/residents of health care facilities in the state of Colorado, by evaluating and securing compliance of licensed and certified facilities and providers, utilizing applicable federal and state laws/regulations and professional standards of practice; and (2) to provide to the public information on health care facilities.
Duties of Position:
This position is staffed by professionals who work independently or as a member of an interdisciplinary team to assess the care, treatment and quality of life provided by various health facilities through observations, interviews, and record review. * Sets, clears, and sanitizes tables; washes dishes, silverware, pots and pans and puts them away; rolls silverware and sets up dining rooms.
* Acts as a production assistant with regards to food handling as a cook, or cook helper preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and other related functions to ensure timely and nutritious meals for residents and staff, to be done before, during and after all resident meals daily.
* Fills dispensers and stocks refrigerators, cleans juice and coffee machines and fills with product, stocks resident refrigerator and pantry with food and supplies, takes supplement and beverages to nursing service for distribution.

* Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire, required.
* Possession of Adult First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications within six (6) months of hire, required.
