Lane Technician

Stars and Strikes Bowling Entertainment Center is seeking outgoing, energetic personalities to join our team!

As a Stars and Strikes Lane Technician, you will work with the Facility Manager to ensure that the lanes, pinsetters, pins, bowling balls, ball returns, and scoring equipment are maintained and operating at the highest level of efficiency. The ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, team player who enjoys working in high volume, fast-paced entertainment center. Our Stars and Strikes Team takes pride in creating a clean and safe environment for team members and guests.

What we're looking for:

+ 1-2 years of experience preferred

+ Must be willing to work weekends and holidays

+ Basic working knowledge of hand tools

+ Basic knowledge of building maintenance

+ Ability to complete physical duties

Responsibilities:

+ Provides professional and courteous service to all guests while maintaining compliance with all company protocols, policies, and procedures

+ Troubleshoots pinsetter machines

+ Oils lanes/Buff approaches

+ Performs service on pinsetters correcting pin jams, ball returns, and minor malfunctions and recording these on stop sheets

+ Cleans and maintains the proper condition of lanes, approaches, pin decks, kickbacks, and ball returns

+ Other minor repairs to the facility

At the direction of the Salaried Bowling Mechanic or General Manager, the hourly Bowl Mechanic (B Mechanic) responds to maintenance requests related to the bowling equipment, including but not limited to, the pin setters, bowling balls and lanes. Maintains personal integrity by abiding to and supporting Lucky Strike's Mission Statement and Core Values principals through positive attitude and with joyful energy.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Pin Chaser s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Participates in the day-to-day oversite of the bowling lanes/equipment from a technical perspective
  
• Troubleshoots issues with bowling equipment and reports needed repairs to A-Mechanic
  
• Responds to guest concerns regarding the lanes in a timely and efficient manner
  
• Efficiently communicates with FOH staff and/or Management regarding mechanical issues
  
• Reports issues to Management in the event that a lane is inoperable, or parts are required
  
• Follows safe working practices and has a working knowledge of all safety practices and procedures
  
• Identifies repairs needed on malfunctioning bowling equipment
  
• Ensures that the workshop and machine area is clean and organized at all times (i.e. workbench, work area, service aisle, etc.)
  
• Other duties may be assigned
  

Job Description

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a customer service oriented environment
  
• Understands and is knowledgeable of OSHA safety practices/procedures
  
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  
• Ability to work in an environment with high noise levels
  
• Regular use of hands, fingers, tools, or controls; able to reach with hands and arms
  
• Open availability, including weekend nights and holidays
  
• Able to communicate in a clear and professional manner
  
• Works well with others and takes feedback well
  
• Reliable, Trustworthy, Accountable and has a passion for customer service
