Purpose
Provide MEP (primarily mechanical and electrical) systems commissioning services for all phases of new construction projects as well as retro-commissioning and monitoring-based commissioning of existing facilities.
Responsibilities

* Receive broad guidance relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and broad parameters for execution. Receive direction on highly complex assignments. * Accurately produce commissioning documents, including but not limited to review comments, commissioning specifications, commissioning plans, meeting minutes, pre-functional checklists, functional test procedures, systems manuals, and commissioning records/reports.
* Perform all tasks related to execution of commissioning, including but not limited to task planning and scheduling, design and document reviews, document development, field observations/inspections, witnessing of start-ups and contractor tests, functional performance testing, training verification and documentation, final reports, warranty inspections, and conducting commissioning meetings.
* Conduct site inspections and prepare field reports during project construction.
* Review project close-out documentation (O&M Manuals).
* Maintain utilization targets.
* Communicate effectively with client, internal project team, sub-consultants, and contractors.
* Organize/prioritize multiple tasks to complete the commissioning tasks in an efficient manner.
* Represent the company professionally at all project-related meetings and inspections.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Manages project technical tasks including completing design work, calculations, writing specifications and technical reports on a wide range of civil infrastructure projects generally involving sanitary & storm sewer, water main design, pump stations, wastewater resource recovery facilities, water treatment facilities, and stormwater management/drainage plans.
* Coordinates design and report deliverable packages for submission to clients and/or approval authorities.
* Coordinate with the Project Manager and attend meetings with the client, team members and sub-consultants.
* Understands and implements industry standards and manuals as well as client and regulatory agencies standards and requirements.
* Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
* Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
* Prepare engineering documents and contract documents by developing construction specifications, plans and schedules.
* Evaluates, selects, specifies, and engineers process mechanical systems or products for a project.
* Conducts quality assurance and quality control on own projects.
* Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.
* Participate in basic cost estimating under the direction of technical leaders to support engineering projects.
* Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

This position will be part of Stantec's Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of water resource related design and analysis projects, including flood mitigation, stormwater management, Green Infrastructure, and stream restoration design and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, mapping and flood risk communication. Your Key Responsibilities
* Work under minimal supervision with broad guidelines, to assign, review, and evaluate the performance of new project orders; directing interdisciplinary project teams as needed to ensure project needs are met.
* Strong project leadership to help ensure conformance with Stantec's Project Management Framework (PMF).
* Develop stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control designs tasks for civil, transportation, and environmental projects, including closed/open drainage systems, environmental site design, ponds, stream restoration, flood studies, and E&SC controls.
* Prepare complete submission packages, supporting calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties; effectively facilitate the agency review/approval process.
* Process construction permits through local permitting agencies.
* Oversee and direct flood studies and lead supporting tasks, including hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and floodplain mapping.
* Perform hydrologic and hydraulic surface water modeling with 1D and 2D HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-SSP, USGS tools, and others in support of flood risk studies and other water resources projects
* Support Stantec's Flood Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP) projects or similar flood study projects.
* Develop Conditional Letters of Map Revisions (CLOMRs), Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs), and No-Rise Analyses.
* Work on multiple projects and be responsible for projects of average complexity/size.
* May serve as Engineer-of-Record (EOR) on project tasks.
* Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
* Participate in client project requirement meetings and value analysis and cost estimating.
* Collaborate with other team members while working on projects; complete tasks and delegate specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate.

Position requires experience in sensor or swath calibration and alignment adjustment. Preferred experience using mainstream commercial software suites (Bayesmap StripAlign, TerraSolid Products) or adjustments done in sensor vendor specific suites (Optech LMS, Riegl RiProcess,). Candidate should have strong conceptual understanding of sources of error in airborne lidar datasets and visualizing translation and orientation errors. Experience in alignment of terrestrial, mobile, UAV lidar datasets, or experience in academic environments is also desirable. Additional preferred candidate experience would include airborne lidar trajectory processing (Applanix PosPac MMS, Novatel Inertial Explorer), and in extracting lidar using sensor vendor specific processing suites (Riegl RiProcess, Optech LMS, Teledyne CARIS, GeoCue True View EVO). Strong candidates will also have a strong understanding of aerial acquisition, GPS ground survey, and bathymetric calibration.

Purpose

Purpose
Provide systems engineering to design, implement, maintain, and secure the company's systems across 80+ sites in North America.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Direction
* Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially complex assignments, modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria. Work is completed using advanced techniques and principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound professional judgement. May review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
At the Operational and Company Level
* Plan, design, develop, configure, analyze, implement, install, integrate, maintain, update, and monitor company infrastructure.
Do the Work
* Design, install, configure, secure, and troubleshoot servers, server clusters, storage arrays and other system components.
* Support and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platforms to ensure secure and seamless access across enterprise systems.
* Maintain and manage equipment within data center racks, ensuring optimal performance, organization, and physical security of hardware components.
* Identify, analyze, and correct complex system-related problems, including security measures and system performance.
* Develop and implement configuration management plans.
* Develop and maintain procedures for system operations, equipment assembly and installation, system automation, infrastructure, and security.
* Prepare recommendations, justifications, and specifications for IT systems in private data center and edge environments.
* Support hyperconverged computing and enterprise storage platforms.
* Support virtualization technologies, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
* Create and maintain documentation relating to systems configuration, network mapping, systems security, backup and recovery, processes, procedures, and service records.
* Develop and automate system processes using tools (e.g., PowerShell / PowerApps)
* Maintain and troubleshoot communication between AD/O365/Azure.
* Evaluate new systems technologies.
* Provide tiered support for other IT staff.
* Manage support vendors and contracts.
* Support onsite personnel and remote locations.
* Communicate status of projects on regular basis to manager and other members of management as needed.

* Advanced systems certification. Examples include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMWare Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization, or equivalent certification.
* Extensive knowledge of AD, O365, Azure AD.
* Familiarity with ESXi, Hyper-V and Veeam.
* Experience with networking equipment such as switches, firewalls and cabling systems a plus.
* Knowledge of current best practices in systems and information security.
* Knowledge of and skill in working on systems architecture, technologies, standards, and best practices.
* Knowledge of software deployment platforms, configuration, and troubleshooting.
* Must hold a valid state driver's license and successfully pass a motor vehicle check.

Do the Work
* Conduct field investigations, including wetland delineations, perennial flow evaluations, Resource Protection Area boundary delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and field surveys, forest stand delineations and natural resource inventories, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
* Create maps of sites for client.
* Assist in the drafting of wetland use permit applications.
* Compile reports summarizing the field investigation, analyze data, and prepare supporting maps and exhibits for Clients.
* Assist in the drafting of Section 404/401 permit applications and impact exhibits to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and State and Local environmental agencies.
* Prepare applications such as Water Quality Impact Assessment and RPA encroachment requests for Local approval, and NPDES permitting through States.
* Work closely with senior environmental scientists to learn and assist with the Environmental team's work.
