Responsibilities Leadership and Direction * Perform work under very limited supervision requiring the need to exercise independent judgement and discretion on a regular or frequent basis. * Provide oversight and direction for one or more specific business processes or functions. * Position will include direct supervisory responsibility of staff to include hiring decisions, direction and delegation of work assignments, performance and evaluation, training and development, employee relations and disciplinary issues, compensation, and termination decisions. Ensure assigned projects stay within budget allocation. * Maintain healthy client relationships and ensure client satisfaction and use solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables. * Prepare proposals and manage projects. * Understand client objectives and help them reach a successful outcome. Your Capabilities and Credentials * Can-do approach to project work and assignments. * Competent knowledge of and proficiency working in Revit. * Familiarity with BIM applications such as SketchUp, Enscape, Navisworks, Lumion, Rhino. * Understanding of applicable building and energy codes and ability to apply them for typical project types. * Able to apply best practices of appropriate content for lighting drawings (plans, elevations, sections and details). * Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to research and present design options. * Strong prioritization and time-management skills. * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator Adobe tools. * Competent knowledge of and proficiency with photometric calculation software such as LightStanza, AGI32, photometric toolbox, and IES files. Education and Experience Bachelors' degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry level new graduates to three years' experience designing lighting systems and performing lighting calculations for projects.
