Formulate and define technical scope, specifications and objectives of project as it relates to the Estimating Process. Responsible for guiding the appropriate shop and Operations personnel where applicable to complete portions of or complete project tasks. Involved with special projects such as the installation and evaluation of new or modified equipment, experimental projects, recommendations, documentation, and resolution. Coordinates with project team to assure technical project goals are aligned with overall project plan. Responsible for the requisition of equipment whether purchased or designed to complete the project objective, on time and within budget. Demonstrate creativity and ingenuity in the solution of design problems on new and existing machinery. Consider in the design project such factors as simplicity of change over, assembly and disassembly, safety and ergonomics.
