Field work will require regional business travel. A few times per year, travel will be required within the U.S. for one to four weeks at a time. Estimated travel is up to 25% during the first two years, with travel reduced with career growth. Travel expenses are reimbursable.

Responsibilities:
Perform engineering design tasks with guidance from project engineers and project managers on large, complex civil/environmental remediation projects through applications of relevant design criteria, and standards and processes of both public and private clients.
Assist with a variety of field assignments including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and system Operation and Maintenance (O&M).
Perform field oversight of subcontractors.
Prepare technical reports and evaluate site data to progress projects toward regulatory closure.
Establish strong, productive internal collaborative relationships with senior-level staff.
Participate in Kleinfelder's safety culture.
Continuously interact and learn from technical design staff.
Qualifications:
B.S. in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
1-4 years of relative experience or willingness to learn site/civil design including site grading, stormwater analysis, erosion/sediment control measures and earthworks estimation.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
A strong work ethic with excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.
Solid written and verbal communications skills.
Willingness to travel out of state.

40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certificate.

Supervise lower tiered engineers as necessary.
