Before opening the new center, patients needing radiation oncology treatment may have had to travel long distances to receive that care, potentially impacting their treatment plans and outcomes. As a Radiation Therapist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
Interprets and implements prescription and treatment plan. Delivers and charts all simulation and treatment summaries.
Performs simulation procedures, prepare immobilization devices. Obtains accurate measurements, contours, and other information as needed for dosimetry purposes.
Assess treatment machines and perform daily equipment warm-up and quality assurance procedures.
Assists in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists if applicable.
