Days- $14.60 Midnights - $16.25 Ensure the quality of aluminum is inspected by performing measurement checks and visual inspections Must be able to lift 50lbs consecutively Will work one on one with a partner for the whole shift, unless otherwise told by the Supervisor Read packaging specs to ensure proper bundling Retrieve racks of aluminum from holding area Push racks of aluminum to workstation Lift and position work horses on tables Cut wood for bundles with a miter saw as needed Use basic hand tools throughout shift (Retractable knife, deburr, etc.) Pack the aluminum with the appropriate material per customer specifications Move metal and/or materials manually as required Document the appropriate production information on paper and a computer Physical requirements: This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures can fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb and push/pull frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual in this role may work above ground level (off the ground) occasionally. An individual in this role will need to be always aware of movement and/or noises around them. An individual in this role must move 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and/or traverse the factory as needed per essential duties of the position. Record production counts promptly and accurately. Deliver empty cartons to production areas and load them into auto-pack racks. Stamp cartons with operator ID and inspect for visual defects. Ensure cartons are full before sealing. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain accurate production records. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently. Capable of inspecting fasteners for quality assurance. Requirements Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction). Able to read and write clearly. Skilled in operating forklifts, lift trucks, electric dollies, chain hoists, stampers, and hand tape-sealers. Above-average manual dexterity. Physically able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs throughout the shift. May be required to stand for the entire shift depending on the area. Comfortable working in environments with noise, dirt, fumes, and potential exposure to lost-time accidents (hands, arms, feet, back) within OSHA guidelines.
