DEREK J. LEATHERS, 47, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Werner Enterprises. Derek has worked in the transportation and logistics industry for over 20 years. Throughout his tenure at Werner, he has held integral roles in many facets of the organization, including the establishment of Werner’s Mexico operations, oversight for all the asset operating groups and leading the launch of Werner Global Logistics, which encompasses transportation management and freight movement within Intermodal, Ocean, Air and Brokerage. Prior to joining Werner in 1999, Mr. Leathers was one of the first foreign members of Mexico’s trucking association (CANACAR) and was based out of Mexico City for several years. Mr. Leathers holds an Economics degree from Princeton University.

Rollie served in the United States Air Force from 1969-72, where he was chief of data automation. After serving in the Air Force, Rollie returned to Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) and began managing K&W Transportation while working alongside his father, Harold, on ATS-related work. He did so until ATS sold K&W in 1994 when he fully transitioned into his current role. Rollie has served as ATS’ CEO since 2001. Prior to his military service, Rollie was helping with various tasks at ATS beginning at the age of 14. Rollie enjoys being involved in numerous community organizations throughout central Minnesota. Outside of community involvement, he also spends much of his free time hunting, fishing and spending time with his five grandchildren. Rollie attended the University of Minnesota, where he earned degrees in Business Administration and Math and Economics.
