The club custodian will also address basic facility maintenance needs.
Duties
Dusts and mops floors
Vacuums carpets
Cleans restrooms and restocks paper and soap supplies
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
Empties trash and replaces trash bags
Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment
May change light bulbs when requested
Maintains a safety conscious attitude in performing duties
Ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment
May perform basic building maintenance as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
Professional demeanor.
A comprehensive knowledge of processes and systems related to the cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
Experience cleaning up after large groups, e.g. a school or recreation department building.
High work accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safe equipment and cleaning materials use.
Working knowledge of proper storing and use of chemicals.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Requirements
•Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017, have a minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or have a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised child care experience in a licensed child care program, and knowledge of child growth and development obtained through one of the following: a. Completion of a high school level 2-year career and technical education course in teacher education; b. A 3-credit college course in child or human growth and development; c. Thirty hours of training in child growth and development, granted by an accredited college or university, an authorized provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, or obtained through documented life experience, including experience with the same age children, the associate teacher supervises, such as a family child care provider, service as a foster parent, work as a school teacher, work as a camp counselor and experience as a group leader for children in sports or other activities, such as scouts or little league, or closely related experience.

We are looking for an individual to provide regular clerical and administrative support within the Human Resources department, including employee onboarding, paperwork processing, data entry, file maintenance, copying/scanning, and answering telephones.On occasion may be asked to complete other tasks as assigned.

Duties
As a key member of the Human Resources Department this position is tasked with assisting in the overall administration within the department.
Maintains and updates personnel records.

Serves as point person for all new employee inquiries. Assists employees with human resources-related questions. If unable to respond directs questions to the Human Resources Director.
Maintains different HR and organizational systems, including but not limited to; payroll system, member tracking system, Employee Navigator, and different spreadsheets by updating and maintaining accurate data.
Ensures that background checks are processed according to set policy and that other licensing and national organization requirements are met.Tracks and informs employees when they need updated documents and background checks.
Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.

Bus Driver - Laconia

The Boys Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is a dynamic organization that currently supports 200 staff working in 30 Early Childhood and Out of School Time programs with a large geographic footprint. We are seeking a bus driver to transport club members in a safe manner to and from school and club events. The bus driver also conducts thorough pre and post-trip inspections and ensures that the bus is safe, organized, clean, and meets basic sanitary standards. This is a part-time position, approximately four hours a day.
Duties
Transports members and staff by driving a 15-passenger bus/van to and from school(s) and to and from special outings/field trips while adhering to driving rules and regulations.
Maintains the safety of the members while traveling by enforcing safety rules.
Maintains good communications with the Boys Girls Club administration; checking in with the Site/Branch Director daily about safety/behavioral concerns. Maintains consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
Completes daily all pre-and post-trip inspections for safety and security by inspecting and documenting in BGC vehicle logs prior to locking the vehicle and completing the daily shift. Fuels and re-fuel vehicles weekly, as needed. Assists with transporting vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance as requested.
Maintains a clean bus/van.
Understands and adheres to all organizational policies and procedures in regard to transportation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-Must have three years of driving experience with a good driving record.
-Unexpired Medical Examiner's Certificate and Medical Examiner's Card preferred. The Boys Girls Clubs of Central NH can assist with the certification process as part of the pre-employment paperwork.
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Will be required to provide proof of safe driving record to Human Resources.

Maintains professional contact with community members, community leaders and organizations, Club parents, and others to assist in resolving situations and in order to develop and maintain partnerships. Develops and maintains public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Club and the community.
Management Administration
11.Evaluate and report on the Site programs and progress once a month.
12.Leads recruitment, retention, and public outreach efforts for partners, volunteers, members, and parents.
13.Reports on grants as needed.
14.Ensures administrative and operational systems are in place to maintain the operation of the physical properties and equipment of the Club.
15.Effectively manages a budget; controls expenditures against budget.
16.Compiles regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation.

Requirements
Site Directors in a school-age program must be at least 20 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and have at least one of the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of an associate's degree in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university; or
2. Certificate of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1,000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or elementary school; or
3. A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children, from a regionally accredited college, plus 1,000 hours of experience working with children; or
4. Current certification as an educator by the New Hampshire Department of Education; or
5. Experience working with children totaling 2,000 hours and the following: a. Current certification as a Para-educator II by the New Hampshire Department of Education; or b. Both of the following: 1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least three credits in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children through a regionally accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least three additional credits as specified; and 2. The Associate Teacher position is responsible for upholding and implementing the BGCCNNH mission, supporting children and teachers, and ensuring the health and safety of the children. Some key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: actively engaging with children, assisting with cleaning and organizing the classroom, and documenting child observations. Must present interest in and willingness to learn child development and health and safety practices.
Duties
Prepare Youth for Success
•Creates an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Responds sensitively to the interests, requests, and needs of individual children, interacts positively with children, encourages exploration, and uses positive child guidance strategies.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to Club members by planning and outlining curriculum to meet the individual needs of youth by incorporating elements of an emergent curriculum.
• Establishes and maintains program goals to ensure the health and safety of all members.
• May ensure the evaluation of Club programs continually, including tracking outcome metrics; verify that programs/activities respond to member needs and address their gender andcultural diversity.
• Uses child observation notes as a tool for curriculum planning, keeps accurate and up-to-date
• Continuously accounts for the members in their assigned group by name and face.
• Oversees implementation of NAEYC standards and GSQ (when applicable), Culture DNA code, as well as BGCCNNH and CCLU rules and policies regarding safety, compliance, and best practices.
• Dispenses medications according to company policy, administers first aid as needed; communicates all occurrences to families.
• Oversees and assists in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining classroom well-being and upkeep.
Program Development, Implementation, and Supervision
• Oversees proper record-keeping and weekly reporting, including activities and events conducted in themembership/finance system. Will provide data for input to a Center Director or other applicable staff.
• Facilitates open and effective, professional verbal and written communication with families, staff, and children.
• Supervises classroom staff, students, and volunteers; provides regular feedback about job performance.
• Supports volunteers, practicum students, and staff through modeling techniques and strategies that connect theory to practice.
• May lead planning meetings with the teaching team.
• May increase the visibility of Club programs via daily schedule postings, announcements of upcoming events through different social media channels, family emails, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
•Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017, have a minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or have a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised child care experience in a licensed child care program, and knowledge of child growth and development obtained through one of the following: a. Completion of a high school level 2-year career and technical education course in teacher education; b. A 3-credit college course in child or human growth and development; c. Thirty hours of training in child growth and development, granted by an accredited college or university, an authorized provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, or obtained through documented life experience, including experience with the same age children, the associate teacher supervises, such as a family child care provider, service as a foster parent, work as a school teacher, work as a camp counselor and experience as a group leader for children in sports or other activities, such as scouts or little league, or closely related experience.
•Must be 18 years of age or older.
•Knowledge of current methods, principles, and techniques of teaching.
•Knowledge of curriculum development and application.
•Ability to plan and implement quality programs; proven track record of creative and artistic teaching strategies.
•Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children and promote positive behavior.
•Ability to motivate members and manage behavior problems with patience.
•Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

The Regional Development Associate reports directly to the Director of Individual and Planned Giving and collaborates with the Development Team to meet their metrics within the assigned geographic region.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
Learns and operates the assigned stages of the sustainable fundraising model that the Boys Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire has followed.Emphasis on but not limited to:
Researching, identifying, and contacting donor prospects.
Creates and enhances relationships with donor prospects.
Maintains relationships with existing donors through regular contact and the provision of annual reports.

Provides effective communication with the development team.

Provides handwritten correspondence, digital communications, personal phone calls, and face-to-face interactions with community members and potential donor prospects.
Maintains effective and professional working relationships with all Club staff.
Maintaining Donor Relations
Engages in conversations with local staff and community members to build local stories that revolve around our core beliefs (Positive Environments, Provide Fun and a Sense of Belonging, Supportive Relationships, Opportunities and Expectations, and Recognition).
Builds local committees for ongoing communication about potential guests for DH's.
Holds at least two DH's per month within the assigned geographical area.With a follow-up of 100% of guests in attendance via phone call or in-person meeting.
Creates a plan for each donor that is driven by that donor's passions and interests.
Assists in recruiting Table Captains for the Champions for Kids Breakfasts in the community.
Secures commitments of participation or donation from individuals or corporate donors.
Solicits cash or in-kind donations or sponsorships from individuals, and businesses for fundraising events.
Qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual gifts through personalized contacts including phone calls, correspondence, and personal visits with assigned donors.
Creates, executes, and participates in donor events as assigned to promote organizational goals, or solicit donations or sponsorships when needed.
Administration
Maintains donor database, coordinating efforts with other development staff.
Maintains strong and accurate records of activities, as directed by team protocol using the database.
Adheres to professionalism in fundraising best practices.
Provides reports, or prepares presentations, to communicate individual planned giving program data to the Director of Individual Planned Giving.
Handles other individual giving responsibilities as needed.
Relationships

Requirements
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Experience in fund development/administrative management in a nonprofit agency is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong project management, administrative, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to set clear team goals, manage multiple tasks, and develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, board members, volunteers, community groups, and other related agencies.
Knowledge of accessing and managing donor databases. Salesforce experience preferred.

The Program Specialist role directs and manages overall daily operations of a site/program with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery. Requirements
A program specialist in a school-age program shall be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and have at least one of the following:
(1) Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules in 2022;
(2) A minimum of an associate's degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university;
(3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or a public or private elementary school;
(4) A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, from an accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children;
(5) Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or
(6) Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and:
a. Current certification as a para II educator by the Department of Education; or
b. Both of the following:
1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other fields of study focused on children, through an accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and
2. Within 12 months of the date the individual begins working as a site director, documentation of successful completion of a total of at least 6 credits as specified in b.1. shall be on file for review by the department.

Job Description The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is a dynamic organization that currently supports 200 staff working in 30 Early Childhood and Out of School Time programs with a large geographic footprint. We are seeking a bus driver, for our Lisbon, NH location, to transport club members in a safe manner to and from school and club events. The bus driver also conducts thorough pre and post-trip inspections and ensures that the bus is safe, organized, clean, and meets basic sanitary standards. This is a part-time position.
Duties
Transports members and staff by driving a 15-passenger bus/van to and from school(s) and to and from special outings/field trips while adhering to driving rules and regulations.
Maintains the safety of the members while traveling by enforcing safety rules.
Maintains good communications with the Boys Girls Club administration; checking in with the Site/Branch Director daily about safety/behavioral concerns. Maintains consistent, punctual, and regular attendance.
Completes daily all pre-and post-trip inspections for safety and security by inspecting and documenting in BGC vehicle logs prior to locking the vehicle and completing the daily shift. Fuels and re-fuel vehicles weekly, as needed. Assists with transporting vehicles for regularly scheduled maintenance as requested.
Maintains a clean bus/van.
Understands and adheres to all organizational policies and procedures in regard to transportation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-Must have three years of driving experience with a good driving record.
-Unexpired Medical Examiner's Certificate and Medical Examiner's Card preferred. The Boys Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH can assist with the certification process as part of the pre-employment paperwork.

8. Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisors to receive/provide information discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct, advise/counsel.
9. Maintains professional contact with community members, community leaders and organizations, Club parents, and others to assist in resolving situations and in order to develop and maintain partnerships. Develops and maintains public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Club and the community.
Management Administration
11.Evaluate and report on the Site programs and progress once a month.
12.Leads recruitment, retention, and public outreach efforts for partners, volunteers, members, and parents.
13.Reports on grants as needed.
14.Ensures administrative and operational systems are in place to maintain the operation of the physical properties and equipment of the Club.
15.Effectively manages a budget; controls expenditures against budget.
16.Compiles regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation.
17.Recruits, manages and provides career development opportunities for site staff and volunteers. Conducts regular staff meetings.
Requirements
Site Directors in a school-age program must be at least 20 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and have at least one of the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of an associate's degree in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university; or
2. Certificate of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1,000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or elementary school; or
3. A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children, from a regionally accredited college, plus 1,000 hours of experience working with children; or
4. Current certification as an educator by the New Hampshire Department of Education; or
5. Experience working with children totaling 2,000 hours and the following: a. Current certification as a Para-educator II by the New Hampshire Department of Education; or b. Both of the following: 1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least three credits in child development, education, recreation, or another field of study focused on children through a regionally accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least three additional credits as specified; and 2. Within 12 months of the date the individual begins working as a site director, documentation of successful completion of a total of at least six credits as specified in (b)(1) shall be on file for review by the department; or
6. Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules.
