Upon graduating from Villanova University with a BS in Accounting, Maria spent some time working in the for-profit sector. After a few years, she decided to return to school and went on to earn her MBA from Quinnipiac University. In 2005, after a hiatus from the corporate world to raise her children, Maria joined the staff of Clifford Beers Guidance Clinic. Maria spent the next seven years at Clifford Beers as the Associate Fiscal Director. It was during her tenure at Clifford Beers that she discovered the importance of the accessibility of mental health care for all individuals, particularly children. She also discovered her passion to help at-risk youth. It was this discovery that brought her to BGV. Maria is proud to be a member of the outstanding staff at Boys & Girls Village.
