Qualifications Your responsibilities will include: Pick up windblown debris and litter from around the landfill and fence lines. Direct traffic and guide commercial vehicles safely within the landfill. Assist with the cleanup and maintenance of work areas, roadways, and equipment. Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, sweeping, and minor repairs. Report any hazards or equipment issues to the site supervisor. Help ensure environmental and safety regulations are followed. Assist scale house or equipment operators as needed. What We're Looking For: Able to work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions. Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and using tools for extended periods. Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols at all times. Prior experience in general labor, landscaping, construction, or sanitation is a plus-but not required. This position is responsible for combining chemicals and /or solvents in quantities prescribed by the work order to make quality product batches, adhering to all safety protocols. This position may also be responsible for completing basic inventory functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read & follow procedures to create batches according to each order's specifications and timelines Read & follow procedures regarding flush procedures and disposal Accurately & completely fill out all required paperwork, including batch sheets Use basic knowledge of chemical reactions to produce good quality batches and/or address errors as needed Read, understand & follow all batching instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), ensuring all batch sheets are completed properly Safely operate all required equipment for batch production Utilize SAP & other computer programs, as required, to assist with batch production Assist with raw chemical inventory as requested or required Adhere to all safety protocol Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Education and/or Experience High school diploma preferred Some experience working with chemicals and solvent mixing and/or blending using powder and/or liquids strongly preferred Supervisory Experience None required Work Environment Manufacturing setting Compensation: (For California, IL, and Remote positions only) Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20 to $22 per hour plus $1 shift differential. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
