DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems including, but not limited to: boilers, pumps, dampers, piping, chillers, compressors, valves, controls, coils, air handling equipment, etc. and perform other related duties as assigned.
The Relief Operator generally performs the duties of a Maintenance Engineer when not performing the duties of the Relief Operator. The Relief Operator covers Operator vacancies with a duration of 40 hours or greater and is compensated at the Operating Engineer rate while performing Relief Operator duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have minimum of five (5) years of experience in the repair of systems and system components as listed above. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a valid boiler license and refrigerant certificate. Commercial refrigeration experience will be preferred. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer's technical literature pertaining to the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment is necessary. Familiarity with various computer programs and systems such as G-mail, Kronos timekeeping system, School Dude, Building Automation (WebControl), and Microsoft Office. Must possess valid driver's license and have good safety, attendance and past work records. Strong comprehensive skills. If not presently, must become and remain a member of Local 399, International Union of Operating Engineers. There is a 90-day Bradley University probationary period.

University Officers will interact on a regular basis with federal, state and municipal law enforcement agencies.
Police duties involve protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances and general police assignments including patrol, preliminary complaint and criminal investigation, traffic control and accident investigation. University Officers identify and apprehend offenders; conduct interviews and interrogations; locate witnesses; seize contraband; conduct warrant checks; perform surveillance; search persons and places; attend court and testify in the trial process and prepare written reports on assigned tasks.
Duties may involve an element of personal danger and require University Police Officers to act without direct supervision and exercise independent judgment in emergency situations. Bradley's Officers respond to calls and complaints involving fire, automobile accidents, domestic and neighborhood disturbances, assaults, robberies and any other felonies or misdemeanors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
U.S. Citizen
Twenty-one (21) years of age.
High school degree/completion or equivalent.
Illinois resident; valid drivers license; record free of three moving violation convictions in a 12-month period.

Works in partnership with the College of Business to develop and deliver programming, including possibly teaching a summer course in the College of Business and/or creating content for revenue-generating workshops hosted by the College of Business. - Allocate 1 hour per week to conducting small group sessions to lead engaging discussion- and project-based activities with mentees and provide personalized support to aid their academic and personal transition to Illinois State University.
- Allocate 1 hour per week to log meeting notes and strategize for upcoming sessions that are tailored to the mentees' needs and goals.
-Maintain professional communication with mentees to address questions, provide referrals to appropriate campus resources, and share reminders about upcoming events.
- Organize and participate in occasional large group activities involving collaborating with fellow mentors to plan and execute large group events aimed at fostering a sense of community and facilitating connections among mentors and mentees.
- Engage in regular one-on-one sessions with designated ISU staff members to receive guidance, support, and assistance in troubleshooting any challenges encountered while mentoring.

Housed in Northern Illinois University's Division of Outreach, Engagement and Regional Development ( OERD ), CELFE works in collaboration with academic, data and research partners across the NIU system through the Research and Data Collaborative ( RDC ). CELFE began its work focused primarily on Illinois' ECEC system, in which our Director, Theresa Hawley, Ph.D. has spent almost 30 years in as a researcher, advocate, and government systems change leader - working to improve ECEC polices with children and families at the center. Now, CELFE is building on that experience and the passion for systems-change held by the diverse and skilled team of five (and growing) to focus more deeply on the funding adequacy and equity of the ECEC system. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as receptionist, secretary, or customer service representative; flexible; dependable; skill with large volume telephone clients; skill in verbal, written and interpersonal communications; ability to respond to emergencies; adept in assigning priorities under simultaneous demands; ability to access and convey accurate information quickly; ability to work with confidential information, files and records; good safety, attendance and employment records. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Public Safety and Chief of Police, the Clery Act Compliance Coordinator works collaboratively with various offices at the University to ensure the institution's compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and associated regulations and with various offices in the University to ensure the institution's compliance with appropriate accreditation entities.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLERY ACT (85% of time)
• Serves as the institution's designated “Campus Safety Survey Administrator,” as that term is explained in the Department of Education correspondence;
• Coordinates the institution's Clery Act Compliance program;
• Develops the institution's Clery Compliance policies and procedures;
• Prepares, publishes, and distributes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report;
• Ensures notices announcing the availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report are properly developed and available to prospective students and employees;
• In conjunction with the applicable offices, develops and implements Clery Act required policies, programs, and activities;
• Gathers crime and disciplinary referral data from various internal and external sources, such as the Division of Student Affairs, local law enforcement agencies, and the state police;
• Works with the appropriate University Departments to identify all Campus Security Authorities for the institution and maintains a list of them for each academic year;
• Sends annual request for crime statistics to all Campus Security Authorities at the end of each calendar year;
• Provides, facilitates, or manages the training of Campus Security Authorities;
• Consolidates relevant data from these sources with information and policies from across institutional departments;
• Coordinates with the appropriate campus departments to ensure compliance with HEA Fire Safety regulations;
• Works with the institutional police department/public safety Records Division to ensure proper classification of crime incident reports;
• Manages the institution's Timely Warning Report program;
• Collaborates with the Public Relations Office to ensure compliance with the “Emergency Notification” requirements of the Clery Act;
• Collaborate with Facilities Management to ensure that at least 1 test is completed each year that includes all required components to meet the HEOA definition of a test;
• Trains key institutional stakeholders on Clery Act requirements;
• Ensures the institution maintains accurate records on security awareness and crime prevention programs and presentations;
• Coordinates with Division of Business Affairs to maintain an accurate list of buildings and properties owned and/or controlled by the institution;

• Submits annual crime statistics to the Department of Education, as required.
BUSINESS MANAGER (10% of time)
• Hires, trains, and manages performance of the department's Administrative Support and Record Clerk employee(s) and student office assistants;
• Leads fiscal planning, contracts, budgets, and grants;
• Conducts analysis, research, and reporting to support unit strategic planning needs;
• Evaluates compliance of fiscal, personnel, and administrative practices;
• Oversees the coding of police reports and preparation of statistical reports;
• Oversees the completion of other administrative processes involving reporting and documentation; and
• Performs other duties as assigned.
ACCREDITATION (5% of time)
• Participates in policy and procedure development to help ensure accuracy, consistency and clarity in administrative manuals;
• Edits policies, procedures and other materials for manuals;
• Researches sources cited in policies and procedures;

Progression of job responsibilities will include making 4 - 6 solicitations each year after the first year is completed at the mid-level gift range. In partnership with the college's advancement leadership, direct the college's progress to donor-centric strategies, emphasizing the bold ideas that define the College of Business's educational plan and inspire transformational gifts. Donor Relations & Stewardship Customizes stewardship programs for qualified donors. Oversees a donor-centered development service operation that positions the College of Business development team for success. Provides strategic input and execution for all alumni and donor relations activities. Provides strategic planning, management, and direction to support and promote development best practices related to development services. Pursues progressive strategies that strengthen the reputation of the College of Business donor relation initiatives. Internal and External Partnership & Collaboration Builds and maintains a strong partnership and consistent approach with the counterparts in advancement leadership, finding ways to reach a consensus on fundraising philosophy, structure, direction, and ongoing management. Creates and maintains key relationships with external partners for the College of Business. Collaborates with Central Advancement Alumni Office to strengthen both the COB and the University's Alumni/Donor Engagement. Collaborates with internal and external team members to develop and execute strategies to scale up a comprehensive, best-practice donor relations program for the COB . The goal will be to increase philanthropic support, grow endowments and expand the COB's visibility and importance among critical influencers, alumni, and donors at all levels.
