Procures supplies and equipment needed for the anesthetic procedure. Performs daily testing on anesthesia machines per protocol with documentation and follow up as needed. Participates in operating room turnover after case completion. Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills, patient & customer centered, is detail-oriented and accurate. Able to multi-task, manage time well and work efficiently under pressure, adapts to change in a positive manner. Maintains par levels of supplies in anesthesia pyxis units, ensures the anesthesia workroom, carts and c-section OR are well stocked. Maintains sterile supplies within the expiration date. Maintains the availability of necessary equipment in each SDS pre/phase 1 & 2 recovery operating room, inventories, order and maintains departmental supply stock consistent with departmental demand. Cognizant of where supplies are kept and is able to obtain or stock them accordingly. Transports patients from the inpatient units to the pre op holding area, to the car for dismissal etc. Checks chart for completeness permit, lab, x-ray and EKG reports, history and physical. Assists in preparing the instruments, supplies, endoscopes and equipment necessary during the surgical and invasive procedure.Join us. Join great.
