1966 Brady opens Brady Europa, a warehouse/factory in Belgium.

In 1969 it introduced Phodar, a method for manufacturing printed circuit boards using dry resist techniques rather than the traditional liquid resist method.

A formal international division was established in 1972 when Brady Sweden and Brady Germany joined the fold.

In 1974, Doctor Mark Borinsky founded the National Council to Control Handguns after being robbed and nearly murdered at gunpoint.

By 1980, Brady had climbed past the $50 million sales plateau.

In 1984, Brady went public, issuing our first-ever shares of common stock, and expanding our reach through direct marketing catalogs.

The original Brady legislation was introduced in 1988.

In 1989, for example, Bill Brady Jr. announced that he expected new products to account for 25 percent of Brady sales every year.

Since its enactment in 1994, the Brady Background Check System has blocked approximately 4 million prohibited purchasers from obtaining a firearm.

A year into her tenure, Hudson announced that Brady's far-flung operations would be reorganized into three international divisions: the Identification Systems and Specialty Tapes Group, the Signmark Group (renamed Graphics Group in 1996), and the Seton Group.

Overall, the company made four acquisitions in 2003 including TISCOR Inc., which was based in San Diego, California; Etimark GmbH of Germany; and two Brady distributors based in the United Kingdom.

Jim and Sarah both continued their commitment to preventing gun violence for the remainder of their lives, with Sarah serving as the Chair of both organizations until 2015.
