The Service Technician - Intern is a part-time role is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and building automation systems (BAS), pipe fitting, welding, brazing, and mechanical layouts. The Service Technician Intern will work with a Senior Service Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
* Fulfilling Brady Mentorship Program requirements to include completing on-the-job training requirements laid out in the BMP evolutions
* Servicing of products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Identification, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing systems and products at customer's location
* Performing timely preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
* Performing repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
* Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
* Documents work by completing paperwork on each job daily and closing out jobs in a timely manner where applicable
* Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
* Preparing for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
* Provide technical support and act as a resource for customers
* Knowledgeable with the products and services offered by Brady
* Inspect, maintain, and complete necessary repairs for all company provided materials including fleet vehicle, tools, equipment where provided
* Maintain service uniform wear such as hats, shirts, pants, and shoes to ensure compliance with company dress code
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
* Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values
* Supervised all of the time
* Must be able to work overtime/weekends as requested

Environmental Exposure:
* Regularly exposed to mechanical/equipment rooms, rooftops, and drop ceilings.
* Occasionally required to work in extreme outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) and unconditioned indoor spaces.
* The employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious locations; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. All exposures occur within regulated safety limits, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
* Must wear appropriate PPE, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hats, high-visibility vests or shirts, task-specific gloves, and hearing protection, as required by the work environment.
* Hard hats are required when working in areas with potential overhead hazards.
* Specialized PPE (e.g., respirators, arc-rated clothing, fall protection) may be required depending on task-specific hazards, and training will be provided as needed.
* All PPE must comply with OSHA standards and be inspected daily for proper condition fits appropriately, and is free of defects.

Summary: Our Sales Engineer Trainees are assigned to one of our branches and train under established Sales Engineers for 9-18 months. Job Summary

Assists with equipment breakdowns/repairs and resolution.
Learns methodologies including but not limited to: root cause analysis (RCA) and break down failure analysis (BDA) .

Summary: Our Sales Engineer Trainees are assigned to one of our branches and train under established Sales Engineers for 9-18 months. In this role, the Trainee will assist the Sales Engineer team by performing application engineering and providing quotations for a wide variety of process pumping and liquid handling equipment. The SE Trainee will partner with Sales Engineers to investigate our customers' mechanical problems and systems failures, then recommend the proper equipment and design to provide a solution that aligns with the unique needs of our customers' operations - based on many variables, including flow rate, viscosity, temperature, pressure, pH, budget, etc. After a suitable period of training (typically 1+ year), the Trainee will be given the opportunity to take on his/her own territory.
The Sales Engineer role is field-based, consultative, and highly technical. While this is a sales position, the sale happens naturally as a result of our technical expertise, whole-system solutions, and time with our customers on their plant floors. The scope of the Sale Engineer role is extensive, as it encompasses duties and expertise of many plant stakeholders, including reliability engineer, process engineer, maintenance engineer, project manager/engineer, and even technical trainer. Every day, every customer, and every problem is unique, which requires creativity, adaptability, and tenacity/grit.

The Service Technician - Intern is a part-time role is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and building automation systems (BAS), pipe fitting, welding, brazing, and mechanical layouts. The Service Technician Intern will work with a Senior Service Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
* Fulfilling Brady Mentorship Program requirements to include completing on-the-job training requirements laid out in the BMP evolutions
* Servicing of products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Identification, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing systems and products at customer's location
* Performing timely preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
* Performing repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
* Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
* Documents work by completing paperwork on each job daily and closing out jobs in a timely manner where applicable
* Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
* Preparing for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
* Provide technical support and act as a resource for customers
* Knowledgeable with the products and services offered by Brady
* Inspect, maintain, and complete necessary repairs for all company provided materials including fleet vehicle, tools, equipment where provided
* Maintain service uniform wear such as hats, shirts, pants, and shoes to ensure compliance with company dress code
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices
* Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values
* Supervised all of the time
* Must be able to work overtime/weekends as requested

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
* Must wear appropriate PPE, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hats, high-visibility vests or shirts, task-specific gloves, and hearing protection, as required by the work environment.
* Hard hats are required when working in areas with potential overhead hazards.
* Specialized PPE (e.g., respirators, arc-rated clothing, fall protection) may be required depending on task-specific hazards, and training will be provided as needed.
* All PPE must comply with OSHA standards and be inspected daily for proper condition fits appropriately, and is free of defects.
