As a Branch Manager and Commercial Loan Officer, incumbents will support CorTrust's mission and business objectives by cultivating personal and business lending and deposit relationships. They facilitate a relationship culture and promote our products and services while advocating for the communities in which they work and live. They oversee and direct the retail branch and its staff and are responsible for adherence to branch and lending regulatory compliance.
Daily duties for this position include:
- Prospects bank lending and deposit relationships through community advocacy and involvement in civic and community functions.
- Grows existing bank relationships through trusted and professional business communications with internal and external customers.
- Oversees the training, mentoring, coaching, and supervision of retail banking staff to ensure adherence to branch policy, security, and operations requirements.
- Maintains a working knowledge of State and Federal banking regulations and enforces branch compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and guidelines.
- Oversees branch operations and recommends product changes and service development to ensure customer satisfaction and bank profitability.
- Processes business and personal loan applications and gathers supporting documents for loan underwriting.
- Performs financial analysis for credit decisions and presents to credit committee as part of the decision process.
- Collaborates with Bank partners to make and receive internal product and service referrals.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as changed or assigned, with or without notice.
