Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for Quarry Managers to collaborate on production goals.
Lead repair and maintenance reviews for fixed crushing equipment and make recommendations for capital expenditures.
Translate sales forecasts into production models/plans.
Coordinate development of mine planning for long term operational success.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, complete training and education events to develop this person for future roles and responsibilities.
Collaborate with Quality Control and Sales Managers to meet project and customer goals.
Collaborate with the company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Director to ensure safe working conditions are met for employees and environmental standards are followed. Also including collaboration on MSHA Part 46 annual training and periodic safety reviews.
Coordinate with and escort government inspectors onsite as needed including safety, environmental or others.
Represent Haydon Materials at industry association events.
Assist Quarry Division Manager with objectives as requested.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in quarry management, construction management, mining engineering, consulting or a similar role.
Background in quarry operations, heavy construction or similar.
Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA safety standards.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with internal stakeholders, government inspectors and customers.
Proven ability to draft technical documentation, statements of work, or project requirements.
Good attention to detail and organizational skill in managing multiple objectives simultaneously.
US Citizenship and ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in mining, engineering or construction management.
Experience with AggFlow software (or similar).
Ability and desire to develop direct reports and other managers.

BranchManager at Amerestore Restoration holds a tremendous amount of responsibility in the success of Amerestore Restoration as a company. This position is part of the leadership team, senior management and is expected to take the company vision, methodologies, short & long-term goals, etc. to directly support & grow the office. BM will be responsible for the success and image of Amerestore Restoration, including but not limited to jobsite quality, customer service, documentation, communication, PROFITABILITY, etc. The BM will manage the Senior Lead Technicians for local jobs and will be the acting Large Loss Manager for anything on the road or large locally. Position includes, but not limited to, the ideology, building & development, design, SOP's, implementation, training, management of large loss, etc. BM will report to the Regional Manager and may be asked from time to time to participate in additional management roles & responsibilities. Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
BM has the ability and knowledge of all aspects of the Senior Lead Technician position, in addition to the following:
· BranchManagement
o BM #1 goal is to make those employees at his/her location as successful as possible.
o Assist in the decision when hiring new senior lead techs, lead techs or technicians.
o Assist HR in the disciplinary actions for SLT, LT, TCH (verbal, written, dismissal)
o All team members meet Amerestore & Client Service Level Agreements
o Ensure Amerestore process and procedure compliance.
o Ensure Amerestore software compliance per department/role
o Ensure Amerestore communication and documentation to corporate is accurate and timely.
o Industry best practices compliance - Attend industry training and networking events. Be a part of the industry.
o Assist in the development and management of KPI's per department/role.
o Develop and adjust SOP's to make the operations team better, faster, cheaper
o Work with local contractors in building vendor relationships, signed contracts, pre-determined pricing, insurance compliance.
o Production ALWAYS comes 1st. When the BM is not actively managing a project, he/she is working on Large Loss preparation or Training
o Large loss jobs will be managed and produced like all other jobs in the company.
o Ensure that all vehicles, trailers, etc. are ready to always respond. BM is responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of the fleet

Enforces compliance with administrative policies, procedures, OSHA safety rules, and DOT governmental regulations.
Performs or provides guidance to subordinates on interviewing, hiring, training, rewarding performance, and counseling of employees.
Confers and communicates on a regular basis with Vice President of Field Operations, Engineering & Production, Delivery Service Supervisors, Scheduling Manager, Safety Director, Regional Sales Manager, Human Resources, Operations Managers and Depot Supervisors/Managers to ensure company policies are disseminated and adhered to.
Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine need for expansion of existing schedules, resource allocation and expansion/consolidation of routes to improve operational efficiency.
Visits each facility within the District as needed (minimum of once a year to each depot) and evaluates in the areas of uniformity, safety compliance, condition and cleanliness of facility, operational condition of equipment and inventory levels. Identifies potential productivity projects to enhance efficiency or reduce expense.
Develops short range operation plans based on company goals and objectives which include resource requirements, process improvements, safety compliance, efficiency, customer service, and process control.
Develops short range staffing plans to meet company objectives which includes recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
Directs investigations into causes of customer or employee complaints, accident/incident reports, and responds accordingly as required.
Reviews and signs off direct report's payroll, vacation, and sick/personal time.
Interviews, hires, and trains employees for departments.
Conducts performance reviews on a consistent basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of five years of experience as a supervisor of a remote field-based team of employees preferred.
Experience in facilitating and managing operations while improving productivity and quality throughout organization.
Strong management attributes and successful experience in both leadership of people and the ability to define future business vision and direction.
Extensive operations leadership and management experience including multiple years' experience in distribution environment.
Possesses extensive knowledge of financial metrics and operations-specific budget requirements.
Very strong problem solving and analytical skills and should be a systematic thinker.
Proven ability to work with management and staff to execute operation plans within cost, quality, and time requirements.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Effectively write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the public.
