Job Duties
The Assistant Service Center Manager would assist the Service Center Manager in overseeing the Service Technicians and the Automotive Service Center. The Assistant Service Center Manager will be responsible for:

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Leads a motivated branch team that provides exceptional service, makes sound decisions, and achieves member satisfaction through coaching, role-modeling, and holding staff accountable. Effectively delegates daily branch workflow to the Lead Teller.
Creates a branch environment that promotes and fosters financial discipline.
Implements and maintains operational regulations, policies, procedures, and standards to maximize accuracy and efficiency. Makes recommendations for overall credit union improvement and division consistency.
Makes decisions and follows policies and procedures for the safe-keeping of credit union personnel, assets, and facilities.
Utilizes expert knowledge to underwrite and close consumer loans following established underwriting criteria and lending policies and procedures. Teaches members to use the loan to improve their financial well-being and provides any ongoing correspondence. Accurately and efficiently prepares member documents.
Demonstrates a work style that is consistent with BHCCU's values and takes personal responsibility for own learning and development to support those values and the branch's success. Serves as a role model to the Member Services management team.
Promotes member growth with current and potential select employee groups, schools, and communities in collaboration with the department objectives.
Prepares an annual branch budget that is consistent with overall corporate goals and monitors expenditures.
Maintains up to date knowledge and adheres to all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards that pertain to this position.
Performs other duties as assigned, including filling in for any branch position.

Physical Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
Pass the pre-employment drug test and background check.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through work experience.
Two years of previous experience as a Branch Manager I or four years equivalent related management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a role model for other Member Services management.
