Apple Farm Service is looking for a candidate to join their team as their next Equipment Sales Specialist. Are you a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual excited to match our customers with the perfect piece of equipment? The Equipment Sales Specialist will be responsible for increasing equipment sales for Apple Farm Service. They will do this by learning the company's product lines, understanding the quoting process, selling to the customer, and following up with the customer for future business. Apple Farm Service is looking for a social candidate who enjoys traveling to customers' farms and businesses to earn their trust and business.
Responsibilities:
- Call customers and prospects to discuss equipment needs
- Travel to farms and businesses to meet with prospects
- Quickly learn about Apple Farm Service's products
- Quickly learn about buying habits and preferences of the agricultural and construction communities
- Complete equipment appraisals
- Complete equipment quotations through online pricing tools and databases
- Deliver equipment to customers
- Monitor competitive equipment and competitive dealerships for activity and updates
- Assist with preparation and execution of customer events
- Attend applicable sales training and events
- Experience: (Not required, but preferred):
- Experience with agricultural or construction sales (or related field)
- Knowledge of agricultural or construction machinery (or related field)
- Knowledge of agricultural or construction practices
- Experience with dealership business systems
Pay:
- Pay based on experience and work ethic.
- Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk.
- Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company
