Position Purpose
The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch in tandem with the Branch Manager. Duties include staff training, building rapport with customers and the community, creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory, perform physical branch inventories as needed
- Ensure maintenance of qualified staff within defined headcount parameters.
- Manage day to day work, processes, payroll, attendance, time off, evaluations, discipline, hiring decisions, providing training, coaching, development and motivation to improve the branch performance
- Enforce a culture of safety
- Ensure all work required (including discrepancy processing) is completed efficiently, accurately and timely, including but not limited to receiving, put away, picking, shipping, returns, inventory management etc.
- Ensure standards of performance as a basis of review. Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity
- Ensure customers receive efficient, expedient service by all personnel including involvement with escalated customer issues as needed
- Ensure all front counter operations are performed per policies and procedures
- Manage retail display area to meet company goals and objectives
- Must be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (ie: fork truck, wave picker, pallet jack, etc)

Branch Supervisors are responsible for reviewing loan packages and credit reports to ensure all aspects of the verification process have been properly completed prior to funding and adhere to company policies.
Other duties include supervising staff, interacting with dealers, customers, field representatives and a variety of other outside entities in a fast paced environment. What You'll Be Doing
Supervises department staff, ensuring that Members receive prompt, accurate, high quality services. Resolves Member issues and account problems.
* Ensures that Member Service Representatives (MSRs) deliver high quality service by providing daily support, including answering questions and problem resolution. Ensures that all MSRs have adequate supplies to complete their daily function.
* Contributes to department goals by managing high volumes through planning and coordinating staffing. Identifies initiatives for enhancements in productivity.
* Processes Member transactions and provides product and service information such as opening new shares and quoting savings and loan rates.
* Provides consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services and ensures that teammembers are providing consultative services by assessing the Member's needs, addressing their concerns and gaining agreement.
Additional Job Functions
* Supervises teammembers directly, including selection, training, performance appraisal and work allocation. Responsible for scheduling staff.
* Helps establish, communicate and achieve the credit union's goals and standards, ensuring these are fully communicated to and understood by all department staff.
