Summary/Objective
The Ambassador performs a variety of tasks during the funeral and memorialization process and assists Funeral Directors and other location staff to ensure services run smoothly and that the expectations of our client families and their guests are exceeded.
Essential Functions
Greets and directs client families and their guests to the correct chapel in which services are being held.
Directs visitors to guest book and distributes memorialization materials as needed.
Answers questions and assists with serving the needs of the client families, their guests, and other visitors during the visitation and memorialization event.
Receives and places flowers in chapels.
Ensures refreshments are available to client families and their guests.

Oversees parking area, valets vehicles and ensures family and ceremonial vehicles are arranged for formal procession.

Summary/Objective

About the Role SNFood & Beverage is seeking independent contractors to help promote our products and increase brand awareness at various events. As a BrandAmbassador, you will have the opportunity to represent the brand in your own style while sharing product information and samples with consumers. Opportunities may include in-store samplings, bar/restaurant events, and community or festival appearances.
How It Works
As an independent contractor, you will have access to a list of upcoming promotional opportunities. You choose the events and hours that work best for your schedule.
Possible Engagement Activities

Share product and brand information with event attendees.
Invite consumers to sample products and answer basic questions.
Distribute promotional items or materials at the event site.
Collect and submit event feedback through the Company Sampling Portal.
Coordinate event logistics with a designated SNFood & Beverage contact before the scheduled date.

In Tennessee, our Team Jeni's Ambassadors have the opportunity to earn an average of $18.43 per hour!*
*This is an estimate of hourly earnings. It is based on the 2026 base pay rate, plus 2025's hourly tip average. 2026 actual customer tips may vary.
In Tennessee, if the average hourly earnings of an Ambassador are less than $16 per hour in a two-week pay period, Jeni's will add the difference to the person's paycheck so that their average hourly earnings reach $16 per hour for that pay period.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams is searching for Ambassadors to join our Brentwood team.

Team Jeni's Ambassadors are our part-time, front-line crew members. They scoop and serve ice cream to our customers, make waffle products, run the register, keep the shop clean, change out buckets of ice cream, and perform a number of other important, related tasks.
As an Ambassador, you will:

Qualities of an Ice Cream Ambassador (also known as a scoop shop employee):
Exhibit passion for community, an eye for detail, a willingness to clean (a lot), stamina (to serve people in long lines), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiar with (and be able to articulate to customers) what distinguishes Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams from other ice creams, and be able to articulate that to the 500th customer with the same care and presence as the 1st customer
Available to work weekends, late nights (past 11 p.m.)
Provide consistent, world-class service to every single customer
Reliable, on time, and ready to hustle for every shift
