Sandhills Medical Foundation is searching for a dynamic, people-centered community champion to serve as a Community Health Ambassador focused on HIV awareness, education, and outreach-with a focus on promoting health equity and engagement across diverse populations.

What You'll Do:
Be a trusted voice in the community
Deliver HIV education, testing, and counseling with heart and cultural awareness
Share information on PrEP, STI prevention, and healthcare resources
Represent Sandhills at community events, health fairs, and outreach forums
Build trust and link individuals to the care and support they need
Break down stigma, build relationships, and help save lives
What You Bring:
High school diploma + 2 years in community outreach or healthcare
Certified Community Health Worker preferred (we'll train you if needed!)
Strong communication skills & cultural sensitivity
Passion for serving and engaging with diverse communities
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within service areas
Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends as needed
