POSITION SUMMARY
Greet and seat guests. Monitor club for seating availability, service, safety and well-being of guests. Serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests and strive to build a memorable experience. Look at new beverage trends, local offerings and guests' evolving needs. Answer questions about menu selection. Communicate with kitchen on orders and product availability. Record transactions in Micros system at the time of order. Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare and serve beverages at guests' request. Stock ice, glassware, and supplies. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly. Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed. Complete opening and closing duties. Requisition all necessary supplies, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Document pertinent information in department logbook. Complete designated cashier reports and resolve discrepancies. Follow property control audit standards.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures, verify uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; and stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. What you will be doing:

Maintain and clean buffet stations, utensils and ensure to replenish as needed
Expedite all buffet food replenishments from main kitchen to Kea Lani buffet room, following standards of presentation
Ensure that temperatures of all hot & cold items in the buffet room are at the proper temperature for consumption based on the State of Hawaii & EHC (Environmental Health Consultancy) food handling safety standards
Keep in consistent communication with kitchen team in order to ensure that food items are replenished in a timely manner

What you'll do:
Provide an unparalleled customer experience for every Rothy's customer
Own all day-to-day customer interactions-in our physical store and across all touch points of the brand-in person, over the phone and online
Support Retail Manager and Assistant Manager in all operational duties
Develop and maintain expert-level understanding of our products and processes including our tools and systems
Elevate customer feedback and identify and escalate opportunities for improvement
Create loyalty by connecting customers with our brand and our community
You have:
1-3 years of retail or customer-oriented experience preferred
Excellent people skills-you are approachable, engaging and friendly
Fastidious attention to detail and an enthusiasm to maintain our brand aesthetic in a physical space
Ability to foster connections with our customers both in our store and within our community
Actively contribute towards meeting and exceeding the team's sales goals
Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays, minimum 16 hours a week and will help to ensure the store maintains established Hours of Operation to meet customer expectations
Ability to work on your feet up to 8 hours a day in a busy store environment; ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
