How did you land your first brand ambassador job

Ariel Estrella

Brand Ambassador

I started as a brand ambassador around 2005. I started working for a production company in Fort Lauderdale Florida with their promotional department.

After moving back to New York City, I started working for a company called marketing Works. The company client was Verizon FiOS and my job was to promote the product and also work with sales teams. After four years of working with the company. I left the company and got myself a marketing Manager position. Throughout the years, I worked as a Brand ambassador part time on the weekend, working in concert, venues, and festivals.

Around 2021 because I couldn’t find any full time employment. I started working as a BRAND AMBASSADOR and worked part-time working with different companies eventually in 2022 I got hired to work as a Samson products and I’ll became a Brand Ambassador . I became a team lead and then a field market manager. After 2022 I continue working either as a BRAND Ambassador or marketing manager all the way up to now in 2024. I currently work for a company called. GMR am currently starting a tour BRAND Ambassador position which I’m going to be touring certain cities within the next eight months .

The pros of working as a Brand ambassador is that I have been able to meet really great people and build lasting friendships. I’ve also traveled to different cities and also have the experience of traveling throughout all New York City, which gave me a great graph of how beautiful and culture is.

The cons of working as a brand ambassador is that I’ve gained a large amount of experience in three years but at the same time there’s no consistency in this industry. Also, there’s no growth, the living wage has deteriorated and there is more of a pat on the back and move onto the next job. I never intended on continuing to do this lot of work no more than two years, but I’ve gone to the point that sometimes you realize that sometimes there’s certain things that you were really good at, but there’s always growth another and other fields.
