Ecosystem Security & Integrity (ESI) is a Global Risk group that is tasked with the role of upholding the security and integrity of the payment ecosystem through the interdiction of illegal and brand-damaging activity. This is achieved through ownership of procedures and general oversight over various risk compliance programs. The programs leverage proprietary tools, third party vendors, leads from the various global regions, and other stakeholders to mitigate ecosystem risk. ESI also works with internal and external stakeholders to further its charter and initiatives.

This role manages “Quality Control” of the payment ecosystem through the execution of several global compliance programs that work in conjunction with regional execution teams to ensure merchants facilitating illegal activity are removed from the payment system. The position is also accountable for Quality Control of the high-brand risk merchant and acquirer registration program globally. The position provides analytical and operational support to the help identify and respond to emerging risks across the payment eco-system. Candidate will ensure program policies, procedures, and controls are executed consistently across all Visa regions and by internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions

Supervise operational activities necessary to execute and manage the Global Brand Protection Program (GBPP)

Supervise operational activities necessary to execute and manage the High-Brand Risk (HBR) Merchant and Acquirer Registration programs

Supervise operational activities necessary to execute the Transaction Laundering Detection program

Oversee and report on audits to ensure our clients and their merchants comply with Visa requirements applicable to

Assess acquirer compliance with HBR program requirements and provide reporting on assessment results and remediation activities

Provide monthly reporting and tracking of GBPP, HBR Merchant and Acquirer Registration activities

Support in the processing of complaints received in the GBPP portals and mailboxes in a timely and efficient manner

Support Regional teams to ensure global adherence to the High-Risk Merchant and Acquirer Registration requirement

Partner with IT to ensure the Risk program management tools remain functional for external partners/clients

Collaborate with regional execution teams to ensure the GBPP management tools have the required functionality for each region to efficiently manage their identifications

Developing actionable intelligence from GBPP violations, analysis of VisaNet data, and leads from external stakeholders to identify emerging threats

Develop and implement recommendations to mitigate risks and improve program effectiveness

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
