In 1961 the company became known as Hünnebeck GmbH.
Dating back to 1961, Brand is one of the industry’s best known and well respected names within the industrial maintenance industry.
In November 2005, the group acquire Hünnebeck Group GmbH, Europe's third largest provider of formwork and scaffolding systems.
In September 2013, Harsco Corporation announced the sale of its Infrastructure business into a joint venture with the private investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
During 2014, Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services re-introduced a number of well recognised trading names into the global scaffolding, formwork and shoring marketplace.
BrandSafway was formed when Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services and Safway Group combined in 2017.
