Etesamnia has more than 30 years of broad in-depth experience in the leadership and management of information technology. He has held several senior leadership positions in computing and technology management at public and private higher education institutions.

Etesamnia joined Brandman University and is the vice chancellor for information technology and chief information officer (CIO). Etesamnia will direct the planning and implementing enterprise information systems to support both distributed and centralized academic and business operations to achieve a more efficient and cost beneficial University IT operations.

Prior to joining Brandman University, Etesamnia served for sixteen years as a senior leader at the University of Redlands, an independent liberal arts and sciences university. As chief information officer and associate provost he was responsible in providing administrative computing support, academic computing support, internet, phone, and system support to the university community. He was also responsible in overseeing services to the technology infrastructure to accommodate online teaching. Additionally, he had recently been responsible for overseeing facilities and construction management at the University of Redlands in the last five years.

Prior to his tenure at the University of Redlands he spent sixteen years at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. While there he directed all functions and activities within the computing resource center, managed cross-functional teams, led strategic planning to identify and meet the university information technology needs, implemented and maintained the university high speed network.

Etesamnia received B.S. & M.S. in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

Phillip L. Doolittle

Executive Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Doolittle joined Brandman University in August of 2013 as the Executive Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Doolittle’s oversight responsibilities include financial operations, integrated technology and information systems, human resources, facilities and administrative services.

Prior to joining Brandman University, Mr. Doolittle served for twenty-two years in senior leadership positions at the University of Redlands, an independent liberal arts and sciences university. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, he had leadership responsibility for financial operations, integrated technology and information services, enrollment management, human resources, public safety, plant and facilities, administrative services, real estate management, risk management and auxiliary enterprises.

Mr. Doolittle’s previous experience includes serving for ten years in various leadership and management roles in business and financial affairs at TRW, Inc. (now part of Northrup/Grumman Corporation).

Mr. Doolittle has served on the governing boards of several professional and community organizations, including the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), Tuition Plan Consortium (TPC) and College Liability Insurance Company (CLIC), Redlands Community Hospital, Redlands Symphony and Watchorn Lincoln Association (Lincoln Shrine - Lincoln & Civil War Museum).

Mr. Doolittle holds a B.A. in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Redlands and an MBA from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University.

Teresa O'Sullivan

Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Marketing Officer

Ms. Teresa O'Sullivan has an extensive background in traditional and online marketing, particularly in performance-based marketing.

Prior to Brandman University, Teresa was the Vice President of Marketing for Corinthian Colleges, Inc. Teresa built a team of 50 marketing professionals and managed a $180 million marketing budget. She was responsible for overseeing all inquiry activities for 110 schools in the U.S. and Canada. Her oversight included TV, newsprint, direct mail, radio and all online efforts including but not limited to SEO, affiliate and PPC campaigns. Her efforts and leadership resulted in acquisition costs dropping by over 30% while growing enrollment for six consecutive years. She directed the development of a new web site and introduced a social media strategy around Facebook and LinkedIn to serve as a dynamic customer service, retention and referral pipeline.

Early in her career, Teresa managed retention and acquisition campaigns for the Personal Card division of American Express and became the first Director of Database Services marketing where she coordinated the design and implementation of a new relational database supporting all Card acquisition efforts. She next used her skills in driving membership for the $28 million books-by-mail business for the Walt Disney Company. As Chief Marketing Officer for IGN.com she assisted in raising capital and taking the company public. The site is now privately held but remains the number one destination for male gamers.

Teresa has a B.A. in Government from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
