Responsibilities: Accountable for the overall performance of the Central Region (KS/IA) operational, client and technical goals; and for personnel that report in through the Engineering, Testing and Drilling divisions. Accountable for oversight of decision making regarding items that apply to all personnel within the central region (e.g. facilities, office engagement, local marketing, etc.). Continually monitors financial performance business unit by analyzing current and future Unit activities, costs, efficiency of operations, etc. and provides feedback on a regular basis. Ensure the efficient use of resources, cost structure and service delivery within the central region and develop and execute a plan for continuous improvement Development of regional goals regarding net revenue, operating cash, key hires, business development, client selection, project delivery, safety and client service and a demonstrated commitment to achieve those goals Objectively evaluating employee performance and establishing goals for staff that contain components of improving or enhancing technical or project management skills, and client service skill development. Responsible for managing the appropriate personnel mix to achieve your office goals (recruiting, hiring, terminations). Works with employees at all levels and, in particular, other Unit managers/leaders and marketing staff, to set direction for client-related pursuits and marketing goals. Directs client contracting in the office with respect to the Braun Intertec's Authority Grant Policy. Monitors individual employee project management skills specifically as they relate to financial performance of projects and client retention. Encourages and supports a work environment that allows for cross-functional, multi-discipline work teams in the interest of being the employer of choice and the consultant of choice. Required Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the Business community.
